CHAPTER 51: MEETING JIRAIYA

I waited for Jiraiya in the Hokage office. It didn't take long for him to arrive and my secretary, a girl from the yamanaka Clan, I recently recruited knocked on the door and informed me if she should let him in. Gaining my approval Jiraiya entered the room.

A tall muscular man with a distinctive and memorable appearance. He has long, spiky white hair that reaches down to his lower back, and his face is marked by two red lines running down from his eyes to his chin. Jiraiya's eyes are often shown with a serious, focused expression, but he can also display a more jovial and carefree look.

He usually wears a forehead protector with the kanji for "oil" signifying his connection to Mount Myōboku and the toads that reside there. His outfit consists of a green short kimono and matching pants, covered by a red vest with large, rectangular sleeves. He also wears a pair of wooden sandals and a belt with scrolls and other ninja tools attached to it. Jiraiya carries a large scroll on his back, which is used for summoning toads.

Entering the room he greeted me with a smile. 

" Hello Godime Hokage. I am Jiraiya. I believe we have never met face to face but I got to know from sensei that you are the one entrusted by Minato and Kushina to take care of their child. How is Naruto by the way?"

'Well damm. so blunt . I would not expect anything else from Jiraiya anyways.' Clearing my thoughts I said, " Hello Jiraiya. Welcome Back to the village. Naruto is well. He has grown strong and healthy. You can go meet him if you like."

" No need. I shall meet him when time comes. Plus from the tales I have heard about you around the world, I believe that Naruto is indeed best protected and Healthy. Have you started his training?"

" I have. He is currently in the first year of his academy and is already mid genin level in taijutsu and shuriken jutsu. Plus he is is a genius in Fuinjutsu mirroring his parents. I believe that by the time he exits from the academy he will be mid to high Jonin level if he can keep up with my training schedule."

" I see. That is good. Will you teach him how to use that power?"

" I will. But not now. I don't want Naruto to become dependent on the Kyubi's chakra and power to overcome difficulties. Naruto must learn to hone and use his own strengths to his advantage."

" I agree. does he have the Uzumaki clan traits?"

" He does possess an abnormal sensing capability, which is further enhanced by the Kyubi. He also possesses the regenerative abilities and extra large chakra pools. I have not yet tested his affinity with the chakra chains yet. So I don't know about those."

" Well the rest three alone are enough to make him a good shinobi." Jiraiya said

" That they are." I agreed.

" Now then Hokage Sama. Why did you call me back. How can I help you?"

" Hmm. I need you currently for a few things. Firstly I need you to continue your information gathering and locate someone . I want you to locate your teammate, Tsunade Senju. I need her back in the village. I want her to lead the medical department and bring up a new breed of battle medics."

" Well that would be tough. Tsunade has vowed not to return to the village after what happened. You know she lost-- "

" I know what happened to her and her clan. But tell me Jiraiya. What shinobi has not lost the one thing they hold dear. Everyone loses someone. But if that stops us from moving forward and protecting the ones remaining then what kind of a shinobi am I ? This village was founded by Hashirama Senju, Her grandfather. She believes that she has lost her family, but she fails to realise that this entire village is her family. And till the time the village stands her family stands. Am I wrong." 

Jiraiya was momentarily speechless after hearing that. But after a while he chuckled a bit and said, " Very well I shall try to convince her to come back."

If she does not agree, Give her this scroll. Only her blood can release the seal so don't tinker with it." Putting the scroll in his vest Jiraiya said, " Anything else?"

" Yes, another thing , take this Kunai with you. If the situation escalates use it to summon me."

receiving the Kunai, Jiraiya was again shocked to see the prowess of the current Hokage. He would have never guessed that someone other than minato had learned that Jutsu. 

" You think I cannot handle Tsunade?" He smirked at me.

" No I think you can. But I don't think you will be able to after she reads the scroll. "

" What's in there anyways?"

" You shall know when the time comes." I said in a sagely tone.

" Well if that's all then I am off. I will meet the old man and be on my way to find princess." Saying this he vanished from the room using a sunshine. 

" Well that's off the bucket list for now I guess."

Standing up I exited the Hokage tower ," I think its time to deal with the Uchiha Clan." 

Walking out on the streets towards the Uchiha Clan compound I was meet with greetings and good wishes. But as soon as the people saw that I was walking towards the Uchiha Compound they started gossiping about the cause of my visit.

"Did the Uchiha do something?"

" I knew it, they must have done something.".

" Is this the end of the Uchiha?"

" Don't be stupid. Hokage-Sama would kill of an entire clan will help?".

Stupid civilians . The Uchiha had already gotten sniff of my arrival. I could sense the chakras of the Uchiha Police force move about and prepare for any surprise attack.

Nearing the compound gate, I saw Fugaku Uchiha standing there. I guess he was there to greet me.

" Hello Hokage Sama. May I enquire about your sudden visit?"

" Of course. But I don't think that you would want the entire village to hear our conversation now, do you?"

He got the message quickly and responded," please come in. The Hokage is most welcome here. Let's go and talk at my house . " He proposed.

"Lead the way." I replied
