Chapter 216 : Helpless!

"You cannot stop me!"

C surveyed the Uchiha ninjas around him, their movements dodgy, a stern smile on his face. He clenched his fists at his waist, and the formidable Lightning chakra coat once again enveloped him. Even after such an intense battle, his chakra remained majestic.

With an angry roar, his bloodthirsty eyes focused on a group of Uchiha ninjas.

"Don't even think about it!"

Kagami Uchiha roared angrily. He couldn't let this guy continue his rampage; he had already taken the lives of many Uchiha elites.

"Kenjutsu, Instant Slash!"

Uchiha Kagami sprinted towards C, wielding a tachi. During the charge, he multiplied into six figures, moving in a strange and swift manner, all of them raising their weapons simultaneously.

"Humph! Flashy moves won't save you. Watch me defeat you in one move!"

The Uchiha Kagami in front of him seemed illusory, with six figures intertwining. C couldn't perceive his real position at all.

"Amazing! My eyes combine the abilities of Sharingan and Byakugan, yet I still can't see his movements!"

Orochimaru stared excitedly at the charging Uchiha Kagami. Using his powerful mental prowess, he realized that Uchiha Kagami's breath was changing within the six mirror-like figures, making it impossible to pinpoint his location.

"I suspect this involves the use of chakra. Uchiha Kagami might have pushed his own bloodline limit abilities to the extreme!"

"Hey! Watch this trick! Hell Thrust, Two Finger!"

C was bewildered by Uchiha Kagami's charge. Despite mocking his flashy moves, he couldn't see through this strange technique, and his vision became a bit dizzy.

"Leave it!"

If you can't see through it, then use strength to break the technique! C's right hand retracted, and the thunderous light on his finger condensed into a sharp thunder spear, rushing fiercely towards the Uchiha Kagami.

This was C's most powerful attack so far, and its speed far exceeded that of Uchiha Kagami.

"Kagami-sama!"

"Be careful!"

Surrounding Uchiha ninjas watched the two combatants intensely. They refrained from interfering this time, either because they considered themselves too weak or because they believed the Clan Head needed to handle C.

"Die!"

Both shouted simultaneously. The six figures of Uchiha Kagami aligned in a straight line, their swords waving in unison like a black streak.

C, undeterred by Uchiha's attack, thrust his spear, aiming to pierce him directly.

"Ye-!"

In an instant, Uchiha Kagami's Sharingan was activated again, unleashing a powerful illusion.

"Damn...!"

C, rushing forward, had a momentary flash before his eyes. It was impossible for him to sprint with his eyes closed. He was caught in an illusion, and his advancing steps abruptly halted.

"Middle!"

In the blink of an eye, the six figures of Uchiha Kagami merged, leaving only a devastating slash.

"Pfft—!"

They passed each other, and thunderous light exploded from C's abdomen, leaving behind a blood trail.

"The Clan Head is mighty!"

"Great, long live the Clan Head!"

"Kill this Cloud Ninja freak!"

The surrounding Uchiha ninjas cheered as Kagami gained the upper hand. However, Uchiha Kagami showed no joy on his face.

"Cough, despicable guy!"

C angrily touched his abdomen, where another long, narrow wound had appeared. Blood oozed out slowly, causing him to furrow his brow.

Yet, after a while, a smile crossed C's face.

"Hmph, after holding off Uchiha Kagami and so many Konoha ninjas here, the Cloud Ninjas should have retreated, and I should be able to leave as well."

C's hand crackled with lightning as he used it to cauterize the wound on his abdomen. He turned around to face Uchiha Kagami once again, this time staring into his eyes without fear.

"You can't kill me!"

Unable to kill him!

Uchiha Kagami's eyes narrowed, and he sighed as the cheers of the surrounding Uchiha ninjas suddenly ceased.

"Damn, still no good? His defense is too strong. It seems I can't do anything until he runs out of chakra. There are so many of us, but it's futile!"

Uchiha Kagami's expression turned bitter. Trained under Senju Tobirama, a genius and powerhouse of the Uchiha family, Uchiha Kagami excelled in swordsmanship, illusions, and ninjutsu. 

However, facing C, he found himself limited to taijutsu. Dealing with an extreme ninja like C proved to be a daunting challenge.

Formidable ninjutsu required time to seal the deal. Given C's speed, landing a hit was difficult, and killing him seemed nearly impossible.

As for illusions, C's strong will made it challenging to maintain control for an extended period. Even the other Uchiha clansmen couldn't break through his defense.

Uchiha Kagami resorted to using his sword skills to entangle and wear down C, keeping him occupied.

Despite being more agile than C, Uchiha Kagami dared not disappear for too long; otherwise, C would surely locate other Uchiha ninjas, resulting in a one-sided massacre.

"Damn!"

Uchiha Kagami resisted C's punch, the force causing long trails on the ground.

Uchiha Kagami felt increasingly pressured. If he faced C one-on-one, he wouldn't fear him. However, he had to consider his clan, and gradually, he fell behind. The advantage of sheer numbers meant little against C.

Fortunately, C had been hit by Uchiha Kagami's powerful Fire ninjutsu earlier, and countless Uchiha ninjas had set him ablaze. C's chakra had significantly diminished, making him less formidable than at the beginning.

"A golden opportunity!"

While C and Kagami Uchiha engaged in a desperate battle, and the surrounding ninjas were absorbed by the spectacle, Orochimaru grinned leisurely. Countless snakes slithered out unnoticed!

Since orchestrating the destruction of the Cloud Ninja Camp, Orochimaru had been content to observe, biding his time.

Part of the reason was his lack of motive to intervene in the conflict between the Cloud Ninja and Uchiha, which did not align with his interests. Additionally, he wasn't strong enough, and his chakra hadn't fully recovered. However, Orochimaru now eyed the fallen Uchiha ninjas with a greedy smile.

"Hee hee! What a splendid chance to gain strength!"

Countless ninja snakes crawled over the bodies of the Uchiha ninjas, their actions unnoticed. Absorbing the spilled blood, Orochimaru converted it into a dense and chilling energy for himself.

He didn't need to extract eyes as with Sharingan or Byakugan; the eyes of the fallen Uchiha ninjas remained in their sockets, but their ocular powers were now gone.

"What a revelation!"

As the potent energy accumulated on Orochimaru, Tsunade and Jiraiya beside him were astonished.

Despite Orochimaru's seemingly weak chakra, they felt an icy presence, as if they were being observed by a giant snake ready to devour them.

"One day, I'll take care of it myself," Orochimaru whispered, watching the distant battle between the two.

"Keep going, fight!"

Without concern for the Cloud Ninja, C had already unleashed his full power, and Uchiha Kagami was furious but unable to land a fatal blow.

"Clan Head! We're here."

"Master Kagami, the Cloud Ninja are defeated!"

"A great victory!"

In the distance, a group of Konoha ninjas approached, the ones who had returned after chasing the Cloud Ninja.

"Master Junji, why are you so late? Many Cloud Ninja have escaped."

These Konoha ninjas neared a group of Uchiha ninjas, initially hearing their shouts from a distance. However, witnessing C's intense battle with Uchiha Kagami left them astonished.

"Haha, it's almost time. Since you can't kill me, I'll be on my way! Let's have another round in the future, hahahaha!"
