walking out the confines of his room jie had to admire the look of the family mansion, to the past jie it was something which in theory was the worst house for a cultivator, and yet now having the experience of living in a few ""cultivator houses"" ,this place was bliss in a way that could not be described

he was brought out of his inner musings by a servant who nearly bumped into him

" young m-master jie, I thought you were going to be in you seclusion for a bit longer"

"that was the plan, but I find that I'm making no progress, so I decided to come out for a while"

"ah yes such great wisdom from our young master, I shall tell the cooks to prepare a suitable meal for you then"

as the servant ran off jie just sighed and walked into another corridor

it was quite a distance before he reached the mansion courtyard, and then he had to travel up the mountain that was behind the the mansion

walking up the steps of the mountain, hie couldn't help but curse his past self for ruining his body so much that this distance was causing him to be this exhausted

even a child wouldn't be this exhausted

finally he reached the top, the small house that was the key to repairing his body

knocking on the door he was quickly met by an angry old man

"I SWEAR TO THE FOUNDER IF YOU ASK ME ONE MORE TIME IF THE GODDAMN PILL IS FINISHED THEN I WILL-, oh its you"

the old man, doctor jie, the one he was named after was, quite visibly in a bad mood

"forgive me child, those damn servants of the li family have been bothering me all day for their goddamn pill request they made yesterday, anyways please come in"

walking in with doctor jie, our jie couldn't help but admire the doctor for living in a dump like this, it was perfect if you main focus was just cultivation, but otherwise it was a shit hole

arriving at the main toom, both parties sat down, with the doctor immideately adressing the his main reason for being here

"while i dont hate your company, i know you rarely come up here eithout a request, so i must warn you, the li familys request is taking longer than i was anticipating so i cant provide any pills, and ive alreadyade it clear what kinds if pill i will and wont make"

'oh yeah, i nearly forgot it was him who drilled the knowledge of bad pills into me'

"dont worry, it's nothing of that sorts, I just need a medicinal bath with a few strands of great vine flowers and a seed of qi"

the doctor rose his eyes at that and then squinted them

"jie, that is a top grade body repair bath, you do know that right?"

jie nodded his head

doctor jie motioned to move closer to him

coming closer, jie's had was seized by the doctor, jie could feel the doctors qi moving through him

a few seconds later and the doctor pinched the bridge of nose with a few curses being muttered under his breath

jie simply went back to his original place

the doctor after taking a few deep breaths turned to jie sharply

"I should be scolding you to hell for what you've done to your body, I would be suprised if you knew the extent of it"

"the meridians are highly bruised which will cause them to be more vulnerable to collapse due to injuries or qi overloads, the body is quite malnutritioned making me weaker in all aspects and causing injuries to take a greater toll on me and due to me cultivating with those two factors it caused a lot of internal injuries" jie replied

the doctor stared for a second before taking in a deep breath

"at least you were somewhat paying attention to my classes, anyways the bath you suggested will take a few days to set up, due to the materials and the pill I'm making, let's say around 3 days"

"that's fine, I can live for a bit like this"

"hopefully this actually teaches you a lesson, like for the founders sake could you not have waited a few more weeks, I could have devised a better plan to heal your meridians, though I am suprised, the bath you mentioned is the second best way to heal your body right now to my current knowledge"

"second best?"

"ah well" the doctors face faltered "the best would be.....that...."

jie cringed once he realised what "that" was

a pill created from a cultivators core

"anyways" the doctor said after a cough "you better head back to the mansion, I can smell that thr cooks are nearly done with the meals, I shall join in a bit"

jie just nodded and headed towards the exit

right as he nearly stepped outside he froze

he rushed back to the doctor making the old man jump

before the man could react jie whispered something in his ear causing his eyes to go wide

he turned to look at jie properly who had a face full of worry

he then got a paper and a brush and wrote down something on it and then sent it to the mansion by manipulating the winds

jie berated himself mentally

the reason he needed the great pheonix flower

to cure his fathers sickness

to cure him of the 1000 yin poison

it was so long ago in his memories that he nearly forgot why he needed the flower

he remembered the flower was important but didn't remember why because his body condition troubled him too much

the talk about weak bodies was the last thing he needed to remember this fact

if he wanted any hope of curing his father he would need the flower and doctor jies help

though explaining why he knew that fact may cause some trouble

but right now it didn't matter

after all any time wasted was more time ticking off his fathers clock

so now he needed to get help for him

even if that meant revealing his rebirth
