With his father dead and his brother inheriting the earldom, Braydon sets out to inherit the family’s neglected title, Viscount of Cliforge, the only land of the Kingdom on the other side of the Brimstone Mountains. His new lands are on the border that is held peaceful by an uneasy truce and the same lands that claimed his father’s life on the battlefield. With no reputation in noble society and no military might to speak of he will be a long way from challenging his brother whose land is some of the most prosperous in the empire, and has the backing of their younger brother, who has the smarts to raise their position even further. Will he become another casualty to the lands that have already claimed his father, or become something more as he climbs his way to prominence? At least he can be sure that his brother would never see him rise peacefully, and the neighbouring Grand Duke desires the last territory of the kingdom on the eastern side of the mountains. His position is anything but stable, he will do anything to change that and build his realm. Ye Tian crossed through Ancient Rome with the Strongest Slaveholder System. He kicked Crassus’s ass, smacked Pompey’s face, and stroked Caesar’s head. With the backing of the Senate, and the three giants of Rome bowing their heads, those proud aristocrats knelt at Ye TIan’s feet. Archeological experts of later ages found that, unexpectedly, the Supreme Emperor who had once ruled three continents…was Chinese.

Way too unrealistic for any ottoman ah, the empire isnt turkish republic where its small enough and linked to europe for Ataturks reforms to work, here the middle east is included with its majority muslim and devout population, the whole thing is a powder keg that wont bend to the tanzimat without fully revolting or losing control, by modernizing with no consideration to the devout in your most prosperous potential lands you jeopardize any future to those lands in the empire. Should have included the Ottomans as protectors of the faith to bring the arabs into the fold or they will inevitably revolt after feeling disenfranchised and alienated. This method of reforms is however perfect for a smaller empire which is modern turkey+balkans without the lands of arabia
