And this time, he was going to survive no matter what. Armed with the Heart of a God and knowledge from the novel he had once read, he would make sure to survive, and trample over anyone who sought to take what was his. *** I dont own the cover art, just smt I found on Pinterest I think. Let me know if you're the owner and want it down. This is my second novel, so you can expect an above average quality of writing. There will be romance but it'll be gradual, and he won't be dense or anything since that would be annoying. The MC might be a tad bit insane at times, and he won't be OP immediately. But he won't be losing too often. Anyways, enjoy! And check out my other novel, The Child Soldier's Reincarnation if you like my style of writing. Upload schedule: As of now, daily but I'll take a one day break whenever I need it.

Chapter 24 - Blood Manipulation [2]

After I said those words, Caelus smiled, it seemed like he has the same idea that I had. Perhaps that was why he thought I would be so proficient with Blood Manipulation.

Arcane Magic focused on Enhancing, Healing and essentially bettering my body. When I healed, my body became a little bit stronger in any and all aspects, this of course applied to my blood too. My blood was denser than it would be normally. And, my blood wasn't normal blood either, it was Ichor. In other words, it was the blood of a God.

Blood Manipulation used the Mana infused into the cells to manipulate blood's motion, shape and power. It's power was tied to my output, so I'd need to raise my skill in enhancement to increase the power behind my blood.

In any case, if I used Arcane Magic to Enhance my blood even further, then it'd be much stronger than if I were to use Mana. And so, I focused for a moment, and used Arcane Magic.

I formed a ball of blood, and compressed it until it was a small ball.

"I don't think I really need to explain how to use it, nor do I think I can. Manipulating your blood is like moving a limb, you can't explain how to do it."

'Oh yeah, I can do this too.'

Then, I altered my blood flow, and increased the blood flow to my eyes. I felt the blood vessels in my eyes expand as my vision improved. Caelus chuckled, but everything seemed a little slower.

My perception had been improved, and it was as if I saw in greater detail.

"It's good, isn't it? Anyways, you can play about with Blood Manipulation, get creative with it. You have a literal sea of Mana, and speaking of Mana..."

He took a look at me, and his eyes widened a little.

"Wait, you have more than me. Mana that is... As a matter of fact, you have the highest Mana Capacity I've ever seen in my life."

He seemed a little happy, but at the same time confused. And honestly, he had every right to be. Caelus had an insane Mana Capacity in his own right, it's just that mine was unfairly large.

"It's obvious isn't it? Yeah, I'm just thinking about how much of an anomaly you are. Your Mana Capacity is weirdly massive, and your use of the Arcane Attribute is unheard of. Nobody else in history has ever used Arcane Magic on themselves so well."

Then, he cut himself, using his nail as a blade.

"Heal me."

And so, I tried using Arcane Magic on him and the wound barely budged. It was healing at a visible rate but it was healing at a pitiful rate.

"Thought so, your use of Arcane Healing on others is awful. I'm sure it's the same for your Arcane Enhancement, not that it matters since no Arcane Attribute using Awakened has the Mana to facilitate an effective and long lasting Enhancement of another person. Most of the time, users of Arcane Attribute are terrible at healing and enhancing themselves as compared to others but you're the total opposite."

Then, he tapped me on the chest and took a step forward.

"And your fighting style, you don't seem to plan very far ahead. You fight like a beast, the way you fight is unsightly and it's violent, unlike any martial art that I know of. And, it relies solely upon your innate strength. But, it's a fighting style that's oddly effective. You strike weakpoints on instinct, and you push forward with overwhelming physical prowess. Your fighting style seems to be based off the Mana Beast's you fought, and... you don't fight like a human would. You don't care about sustaining injury, in fact, you don't mind giving yourself injuries to get a single attack in."

I didn't know what to say, I didn't really think very hard about how I fought, I just moved in the way my body thought was best.

"Anyways. What I'm trying to say is... I can't teach you a fighting style, or rather... I shouldnt. It'd do more harm than good, just cultivate the one you've made further."
