Chapter 25 - To The Capital

As I wake up from my slumber, a warmth began to envelope me. This comfortable feeling that lingers in my side felt like a temptation that made my still sleepy brain send a signal to my body as not to woke-up yet. Yes, someone is clinging beside me. As a guy who is still in the embrace of sleep, the warmth felt like I was in heaven. You know that feeling, right? Like man, why does life have to bother me when I'm sleeping here.
But as my brain started to warm-up, 'You have an appointment. I wonder what time it is now?'. Such selfish thoughts gave me a signal that made me forced my eyes open and wake-up.
Goddammit!!
When I turned to my right, a white-haired girl who is still in her sleep is using my arm as her pillow, her face buried in my chest. It would be an act of evil for me to wake her up while she is still in her sweet slumber, but regrettably, today is not the time for that.
"Luna, wake up" I tap the cheeks of the slender girl who is still clinging to my arm as to wake her up. Before long, she moaned and slowly opened her beautiful blue eyes, looking at me.
"Good morning, Luna" I greeted.
"Good morning, Master" Luna greeted me with an adorable beaming smile. I was about to tell her why she is sleeping in my bed, but we need to hurry.
"Can you wake Lily up? the train we appointed will be up for later so let's get ready and leave right away" I said and slowly went out of the bed. I stretched my whole body and groaned in satisfaction as the fatigue from my sleep slowly went away. After that, I go to the bathroom while Luna woke Lily up and started to get ready.

Preparation done. We immediately left the hotel and stats heading to the Train Station whom we got appointed with. We set out quite late, which is why, we are currently sprinting in hurry trying to catch the Train that was about to leave in appointed time.
"Let's go, both of you! the train is about to set-off." I said while running through the station. As we get near the Station, I saw the Train was starting to move slowly, making a "choo-choo" sound.
Trying not to get left-off, I used my boots and dash instantly through the door and reached my hands to Luna and Lily who got left out and pulled them inside. That was a close one! But man, it's still early in the morning and were already faced with problem...
The three of us let out a sigh of relief and went through the assigned seat arranged to us and rest our back in exhaustion. I let the two sit on the window area so they can enjoy the view while I sat at the edge at the walkway of the train.
The next destination we are currently headed is the Capital of the empire called 『Alcrux Empire』. According to the receptionist yesterday, it will take us an approximately 8 hours to reach the Capital. Unlike in my old world where school and academies can be found anywhere; apparently, the academies in this world are only built near the Capital. The reason? I don't know either. There are many factions of academy in the capital but according to the game and where I'm supposed to enroll is called "Imperial Academy". In order to keep the story proceed where I wanted it to, I need to act how Sai did it in the original timeline. But I am not so evil that I'm going to do what Sai did as he became the Underdog of the game. Of course, I'll change it a little but still keep the fact that it'll went through the story the same as to the original.
"Master?" Luna said, bringing me back to earth. Oops looks like I dozed off thinking of something.
"Yes, what is it?" I replied.
"No, it's just that you were quiet for a while now, are you thinking of something?" Lily said. The two girls stared at me.
"My bad, I was just thinking of something" I replied.
"Really?" Luna replied. "It must be something serious since you've been thinking hard about it."
"N-no, I was just reorganizing our plan after this so it's nothing to worry about." I told which the two of them stare into each other.
"You're such a hard worker, Master" Luna said. "Diligent, I'd say, but you should take a breather once and a while, okay? Master."
"Right?" Lily nodded.
"For me to get complimented by you girls... I must be such reliable guy." I sarcastically said and stroke my chin while making a grin.
"Hehe of course, Master is not only reliable but also kind. You always give us everything more than we deserve" Luna said with passion, Lily nodded at Luna and then both of them stare at me as if expecting my reaction.
"Haha... You're exaggerating" I awkwardly laugh, my face flushed in embarrassment which the two giggled in each other. C'mon guys, I'm just joking...
"You're both teasing me, aren't you?" I said and covered my face with one palm of my hand.
The teasing kept going for a while. But after it started to cool down, I began telling them stories that I know, or some questions they want to ask in order to relieve our boredom. One thing I should remember starting today is to always bring something that can entertain us during our travels. but I doubt it will happen anytime soon since after this and we'll start our Academy days, especially I who will focus on grinding in order to get stronger. Every second will be of importance to me.
"I also need to think of our house, huh..." I mused.
"Master, you're going to buy a house?" Luna, who heard the words who I though was low enough to be heard and stare at me with her eyes beaming with excitement.
"Y-Yeah, I planning to since we'll be staying in the Capital and go through the Academy, we'll need a place where we can stay at." I replied at Luna with a perplexed face.
"Ah, but since it's on the Capital, won't it be too expensive?" Luna replied.
She's right, the thing is, I was also thinking about that. The price of a house in the Capital would probably a hundred times the prince of our mansion before. Hell, even all of my current money I have in my possession is probably not enough to buy one. Even with my knowledge of the game, it would still be hard considering I need to travel from places to places.
Should I start duplicating my money, I wonder? Ugh, but the inflation...this is hard.
"Let's just think about it later." I said wryly.
"Uwahh... W-Well, if you say so, Master..." Luna said and laughed awkwardly.

*Choo~ Choo~* The train who had reached its assigned destination had finally stop. The three of us went down and started to stretch our bodies to release the fatigue that accumulated in our bodies from sitting for too long. Oh, yeah! And you know what?
"My ass hurts..." I said timidly.
"M-master..." Luna called me shyly for saying vulgar words while Lily who looks worn-out looks away from me in embarrassment. Haha my bad.
"Well, forget it. We're finally here in the Capital." I replied. "It's already afternoon. For now, let's go find some hotel we can stay at."
While I was in the middle of talking, I saw the Elf Woman at the edge of my sight whom I met last night also went down the same train we rode just a minute ago. I didn't saw her earlier. I guess our seats were just quite far apart.
"Hey, I didn't know you're also here." I approach the White-haired Elf and greet her. "I had expected we'll meet later but I didn't think it'll be this soon."
"Ah...! the boy from last night, Fufu..." the Elf Woman put her hands in her lips and laugh. "I also didn't expect to see you here".
"Yeah. We actually came here to enroll from the academy as o-" I immediately stop my words when I saw the Elf Womans face.
She—the Elf Woman had her eyes widened, shimmering in tears. I had thought I did something wrong but looking at her once again, she was staring far more than me.
"I-is something wrong." I asked worriedly.
I'm sure I was not the cause of her tears. Curious, I tried to look behind me and see what cause her like that. When I saw what was behind me, a girl with the same reaction as the Elf Woman whom I was just talking had entered my sight.
The girl—who also was an Elf, also had the same reaction—it was Lily.
"M-mother...?" Lily called; tears started to fall from her eyes.
""...Eh?"" Luna and I reacted in unison.
Despite the vastness of a planet, the world sure is a small place, huh. You're kidding me. I can't even begin to comprehend this absurdity of a coincidence before us...
