Draco: hobbit!! (and he appeared and asked what to do) open all the gift and write down the name of the senders one by one, and mother can you go and get father, please.

then mother left to get father and told hobbit to hide the gifts send by Hermione Granger and Weasley twins and take them back to my house and hide it and before father came downstairs he was all done and was working on other gifts as father came downstairs and checked all the presents given by important identities as they are the only one who gets a present which he thought was a good idea and was happy with it so he listed out all the VIPs and prepared to what to send them back and it took our entire morning after lunch we had sometime so i excused myself and left for my house and piled all the people who send the presents and were not given back anything i made the house elves write them letters too and send a pack of chocolates too them all too and then i went to my room and opened the gifts sent by Hermione it was a book on arithmetic typical Hermione so i sent her a book on runes and a necklace made out of a gold chain and a ruby with a dragon in it if looked closely you can see it only to wizards and it will warm up whenever i say her name something i got from the system . and the twins sent me prank chocolate after which my voice will sound high pitch so I send them the same but their voice will sound of feminine women. after I was done sending them. I took a bath and then left to meet my parents at 6 I entered and it was at 7 we had to be present for the ball and it took my mother to get ready till then at dot 7 we were at ministry ball as we entered we were greeted with an overenthusiastic minister and with the lights of the camera and after almost an hour of meeting people and photos, my jaw hurts so I was alone at a table with a glass of wine in hand but soon I was joined by my friends.

pansy: Draco!!! congratulations.

Theodore: yaa mate you did a number out there I mean we were so speechless when we found out what you did.

Crabb/Goyle: you sure did made us speechless.

Daphne: well how do you feel as the youngest.

Blaise: I don't know dad it does have a nice ring to it. and they all laughed and soon there was a tinkling of glass the minister gave a speech and welcomed me on the stage and dumbledore was here too as both of them as the chief warlock and the minister of magic gave me the order of Merlin first class. and there was huge applause but suddenly an Aurora ran in and said something in ministers ear who beamingly told everyone that they have caught Sirius black and now he can't run anywhere I guarantee that and with that he left with dumbledore who patted my back and said I am proud of you and then followed minister out of the ball to the ministry and the party still goes on I was congratulated and invited to dance by every single lady and almost all of them flirted with me and my jaw pain is getting worse with all that fake smile.

soon the ball came to an end and we left for home and called it a night.

The next day the entire wizardry Britain was talking about me and failure as a minister of fudge for Sirius black to run away again.

I packed my stuff as it was time for Hogwarts and left home at afternoon we reached and I was bombarded by people from all age group of my achievement and was awarded 100 points because of it the classes went on same as usual the days went by with my time spent between Hermione the twins and classes, Hermione really liked the gifts I sent her which I thanked by saying her name through all her classes which annoyed her and I had a laugh the twins opened a shop in Hogsmeade which was a blast they made their first pot of gold by the end of the year with a marginal profit of 32000 galleons except the payment of the staff the shop name was Twins & drake joke shop. Hermione aced the exams again but I aced the potions and we left for home again, Slytherin won the cup by the way house cup not the Quidditch because of you know who.

and soon I was back home and then told my parents about my plans that I am doing research and I would need total silence so ill be at my house if they needed anything just send a letter and after few days I was back at my house no.1 has made 7 finished Felix felixes. and stored them for the next few days I commanded my house-elves to create a basement with added spatial charms to make a library of sorts with the dark magic books under locks while others in the open and days went by on my fourth day at my house the egg was hatched and I played with it and took care of it for next seven days and it became full-grown on the eighth morning I named I Ravan after a God known for his utter loyalty.

ravan loves to fly around so i made him on personal habitat in a suitcase where he flies around one fine evening i saw Hermione walking by my house it seemed like she was going out for a walk so i followed her silently she went to an ice cream parlour and met some of her friends it seems muggle friends ah so i did what i i did best make an appearance she was inside the ice cream parlour chatting with her friends and i entered with a ring i entered she was sitting with her back facing me and two of her friends looked up they were beautiful too not that much but i was sure that i was a looker as their eyes widened and followed me to the counter i walked their and a ordered family pack of chocolate chip and vanilla and waited and then looked back at Hermione and she was staring straight at me and her friends too were giving me flirtatious looks from what it seems i winked at her and she called me and i went to her telling the tender to hold my order as i reached an unexpected hug came at me so i hugged her back and then we sat and talked.

Hermione(POV)

few days back i returned home from Hogwarts Sirius is living safely at his paternal house harry has to go back to the Dursley but is planning to get to the burrow before the Quidditch world cup and my life carried on as usual other than letters from friends and a warming of a necklace from draco at least twice it gets warm everyday my parents were shocked when they saw the necklace mum won't stop talking about Draco everything was going good until i saw my childhood classmates Samantha and mary they were my friends sort of our parents are known to each other so in a way we are friends and when they found out i was here they invited me for an ice cream and i had to go i met them outside of the parlor we went inside and waited for our orders and chatted which became awkward of sorts they kept asking questions about school and i have to lie about all of it until are orders arrived and ate with small talks and i mostly focused on my ice cream it was choco chip and vanilla i loved it but i didn't hear them talking so i looked up and saw them staring someone

Hermione: what got your girls attention now.

Sam/mary:an incredible hottie.

I looked back and I couldn't help but stare because I knew who it was and he didn't seem to notice me while Sam and mary kept on going on and on about how hot he is which is true wait what am I thinking Hermione he is your friend get it together but what was he doing here Malfoy in a muggle ice cream parlour joke of the century and then suddenly he looked back it seems he noticed our stare and smirked and winked at me which made me smile and I unknowingly called out to him.

Hermione: Draco!.

I was so happy to see him that I hugged him and he hugged me back.

Sam: aren't you gonna introduced us, Hermione.

I was a step too late as Draco did it first he grabbed Samantha's hand and kissed it and introduced him politely and did the same with mary and then sat down and then looked at me and smiled while both Sam and mary were flushed

Hermione: what are you doing here Draco.

Draco: Well currently I am staying here nearby and took me long enough to find this place here for some ice cream as I needed some and couldn't send house-elves(whispered) to get me some and I wanted to try muggle made one. and these must be your friends I forgot to ask your name, beautiful ladies.

Draco: Samantha and Margaret beautiful name as it suits you. To tell you the truth I was surprised that the studious Hermione granger had friends other than books hahaha.

Hermione: well you are my friend so you don't get to say that.

Samantha: so are you both like schoolmates or something.

mary: tell us about your self Draco.

Draco: well my name is Draco Lucius Malfoy I belong to a family of aristocrats and bankers and I am in the same grade as Hermione and I love sketching that's all I can think about myself right now what about you guys.

Samantha: well we were used to be Hermione's childhood friend until she went to the boarding school you are from tell us more about it.

Draco: well sorry can't help you in that department as you may haven't heard much about it from Hermione too now did you (they shooked their heads) but I will tell you this as I said I belong to a rich family and we have shares in many big companies like Microsoft, Ferrari, etc and we all need quality studies for our future and safest have utmost importance in it so the school knowledge is hidden from normal folks as there are hundreds of people just like me students of Hogwarts and I believe you can hold that as a secret for all of our well being.

mary: then why is Hermione part of Hogwarts too.

Draco: well she is there because the smartest and wittiest student, there the school standards are above normal grade students we have at least 9 subjects and really hard exams and practicals and let me tell you I was taught by the best tutors that you can get from money and for going straight three years now I am still second because Hermione held the fort for the brightest in our year. he looked at me and smiled warmingly and we kept on looking at each other after more talking we all left to go home it was 5:30 as I and Draco walked side by side I still felt so happy when he defended me and I smiled unknowingly until he called out my name loud enough to break me out of my stupor.

Draco: granger, why are you so, lost I asked if you would like to visit my house.

Hermione: wait that's your house you are only two houses away from my house. wait why do you have a house in muggle London.

Draco: you wouldn't believe me then if I said it belongs to my parents before the start of the previous war they bought it as their own safe house. come along now.

Draco(POV)

well, we reached my house as soon as we entered there was a gasp behind me as Hermione had widened her eyes and was looking around with utter curiosity. I showed her all around the house she literally squealed at the sight of the library and soon we were sitting in my dining room and having ice cream who knew this was her favourite too we talked about out how do I know about muggle information and how was I so good at hiding the truth from them and made sure they never ask again how funny was their reaction she said while I said it was normal as I am too beautiful for Muggle standards at 7 in the evening she left my house and I told her she can use the wand in the house so she can come here and practice if she wants.

and since that day she came every single day we talked a lot got to know about each other a lot too we went to muggle shops and I bought an entire muggle wardrobe for myself. she was happy with our little playdates. until a day while playing in the backyard she scratched her knee and there was a lot of blood and I without thinking called for Ravan and within a second he was there fly in next to me and Hermione staring at him with his googly eyes.

then used his tears on her and she was healed I took out my wand scorgify her clothes and told the house-elves to clean the gardens then as we sat down on the couch I was bombarded with the question as to why do I have an extinct species and I told her after me getting the order of Merlin it just appeared next to me so I researched and found out some theories Phoenix choose their wizards who they will be most good looking with so I was chosen to which I got a slap on my back of the head which was followed by a laugh then I told her that it has something to do with recognition by magic as it gifts you with your work you have changed destinies of millions dumbledore got his too and many of the great wizards were gifted with such presents too well it's just a theory that was given by a pureblood researcher who said magic is alive and flows through us and we are its children and are praised for it when we do good or hurt when bad. then we talked and I made her promise me not to tell anyone about Ravan not yet. and then one day she invited me to dinner at her home as I was not always cooped up at my house I used to go to my parents for many nights for dinner so I went for dinner and they were surprised would be an understatement they were both happy and cautious around me when they found out about me being a Malfoy they were not that bit happy with my presence but I apologized to them and for a token of apology I gave them a vial of phoenix tears with 20 drops of it which they didn't understand until Hermione clarified it to them, oh and they were shocked about it too they wanted to return it but I just called for Ravan and told them he is an emotional kind of guy so I can easily play as sad movie or something and I'll have my fountain of youth to which they all laughed they were really fascinated by him Hermione's mother kept on petting him and he was getting cosy around them, the end of the night Ravan gave one of his feather to Hermione's mum to which we both were shocked and then we told her it meant a really rare thing and may be she is the first muggle to be recognized by a phoenix in a millennia to which she petted him more and more i told them that you can call for him whenever you want him to miss granger to which she was really happy but he won't appear if there is someone else around you unknown to him.
