When I first started writing, I thought it would be quite enjoyable—especially compared to the other story I was working on at the time—since it was fresh and new. Very few were writing a plot set in Konoha during its formation years after the Warring States period, and even fewer combined that with the concept of the main character transmigrating into Uchiha Madara, the most charismatic villain. Oddly enough, almost no one had tried that, as far as I remember. (I mean, people even had the MC transmigrate into Kiba, but not Madara of all people.)
As you all know, I stopped writing it and seemingly dropped it, which is correct.
Like other fanfics that went dead when they weren't set in Konoha during the Naruto timeline, this one also faded away. The way I handled the seating to the point of spending hours of time in day to research before writing turned me off. At that time, I wasn't a fan of writing fight scenes and I couldn't come up with the next chapter revolving around a fight, so I just stopped uploading because I couldn't figure out how to write them.
Now, in 2024, I still feel bad when I see notifications of people adding the story to their collections, even though I only wrote 10 chapters at best. I apologize to the readers for not delivering the story you were waiting for months and for not addressing this until now. I won't say I'll never write it again, but I doubt I will unless I get a eureka moment.
