Gringotts

(A/N)

Hey there, guys!

A lot has been going on lately. And it seems like time has been playing tricks on me. As I can hardly keep track of the days. There will be a guaranteed chapter every Monday from now on. And if I have the time, then one on Friday as well.

If you didn't get a chapter on Monday, kindly remind me about it in the comments, as I may forget to upload it due to my busy schedule.

Enjoy the chapter.

.....

As I was heading toward Gringotts, a sudden thought popped up. What if Narcissa found out about my trip to the library and Gringotts? I couldn't bear the thought of her her wrath.

I knew I had to act quickly. I couldn't let Narcissa find out about my true intentions.

And a perfect plan formed in my mind. I decided to get a shadow robe. It's not just any robe but one that can hide my face in shadows. I learned about such unique items from the books I read yesterday.

"Hey, Dobby, Do you know where we can get the shadow robe," I whispered to Dobby.

"Master the shadow robes are considered as borderline dark artifacts even though it's not illegal to wear that. But most people frown upon it and don't use it, so it is unavailable in general stores. But I may be able to get you one." He whispered back.

I decided to take precautions against Narcissa and not to arouse suspicions, so I spent the next hour touring the alley and buying many quidditch figurines.

Many wizards have seen me in this time, and Aquentices of Lucious also said their greetings. But most of them were concerned about my well-being as they learned that I was not accompanied by an adult but rather a house elf.

After that, I left the alley with Dobby. I wonder why Narcissa has given me permission to go out alone in the first place. But anyways, it's a blessing for me.

But we did not return to the manor; instead, we teleported into a small abandoned village near London. Dobby cleaned up the living room of an old house, and we placed everything there. There is a lot of them.

As I was arranging them, Dobby went away and came back with two shadow robes. No idea where he got that from. I have a feeling that he will tell me in the future. After that, we both returned to Diagon alley in our robes.

Our height was the same as before. As a result, most people thought we were goblins hiding in shadow robes. Now that I have taken sufficient precautions, I started my plan.

First, we went straight to the library. I needed to get my hands on some specific books that Dobby could not get for me prior.

The library was a grand, ancient building with soaring ceilings and towering shelves. The smell of old books and parchment filled the air, and the sound of rustling pages echoed through the halls.

As we entered the library, I was struck by the sheer size of the place. Rows upon rows of dusty tomes and ancient scrolls stretched out before me.

The good thing was that the library also had a small collection of muggle books. Which saved me a trip to the muggle side of London. I spent time reading, my mind lost in a maze of information. I started to modify my plans accordingly as well.

After getting sufficient information and making the necessary changes to my plan, Dobby and I went to Gringotts.

We made our way through the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley. The hustle and bustle of the crowds filled the air as I weaved through the mobs of witches and wizards. The good thing was that most wizards and witches avoided us like the plague. They were a bit afraid of our attire. The shadow robe is working a bit too spendy. Thus we were able to reach our Gringotts quickly.

As we walked toward Gringotts Bank, I couldn't help but feel intimidated by its grandeur. The white marble building towered above me, with impressive columns and intricate carvings adorning its façade. It was as if the bank was an ancient temple dedicated to the worship of money.

The entrance to the bank was guarded by two fierce-looking goblins, who scrutinized us as we approached.

One of them looked up at me and asked for our business. I explained that it was an important matter and could only be spoken to by the head of the bank. The goblin sneered at us, but he allowed us to pass afterward.

The interior of Gringotts was just as impressive as its exterior. The ceilings were high, and the walls were gleaming white marble. The floors were of black granite, and the lighting was dim, which created an eerie atmosphere. A line of goblins sat behind a long counter, their faces expressionless as they dealt with customers.

I went to the front of the line, where a goblin looked up and asked for my business again. I informed him that I needed to meet with the head of the bank to discuss a very important matter that would benefit the Gringotts tremendously.

The goblin looked at me skeptically, but after a few moments, he nodded and directed me toward a door at the end of the room. As I went to the manager's office, the marble floors shone beneath my feet.

After the guards opened the door, I introduced myself to The Head Goblin.
