Chapter 4: My very own system

Will opened his eyes. 'Ugh' his head still hurt. He looked around. He was on his bed and his roommate was watching TV. "What the hell is going on." he sat up and massaged his forehead. He remembered everything clearly. The pain of seeing his classmates die and the pain of feeling his life fade away. Could this be his life flashing before his eyes.

A screen appeared before his eyes. He got startled and hit his head on the wall. His roommate turned and saw him hit his head. "Idiot!" He turned towards the TV again. Will tried poking his hand into it. But his hands just went through it. A message formed on the screen.

Will sat there staring in complete shock. It then dawned on him that he had similar messages back when he was lying on the ground. But why? The system was not new to him but he never money to afford. The virus was a luxury for only the rich. He sometimes wondered how his room mate was able to afford one. He never actually asked him though. Also, he had never heard of a time traveler attribute before. Wait a minute.

The list ended most of these things didn't make sense to him. Unlike other system which had evolution points, this used experience points seen in video games. It seemed that as he gained more experience points though he would get to a higher level. The strength, agility and stamina he understood but the essence was completely lost to him. Also he was OK with the mp and hp but what was the so. He was sure that everything would be revealed later on.

His eyes widened. He didn't know why and how but he had his very own system now and he was going to do everything he could to keep it. He jumped of his bed. 'Time to get exercising'.
