As she padded downstairs after getting dressed, the aroma of freshly cooked breakfast wafted through the air. Melisa's stomach growled in anticipation.
She rounded the corner to find Margaret at the stove, humming softly as she flipped pancakes.
This was, of course, one of the better parts of staying at Javir's manor and not at the academy. Melisa had been unaware of just how much she missed this view.
