Isabella's tail swished behind her as she dodged another of Melisa's spells, a grin spreading across her face.
It was just past midnight. While the rest of the student base was off either sleeping or pouring over texts in the study towers, the two of them were at one of the academy's many arenas, doing what two sorceresses in their prime were supposed to do.
Having magical foreplay.
Or, as Melisa would call it, "training."
"Come on, Mel," Isabella taunted, her green eyes glinting mischievously. "Is that the best you've got? I thought you were supposed to be some kind of prodigy!"
Melisa huffed, her purple skin glistening with sweat.
"Oh, you haven't seen anything yet!"
Melisa's hands moved in a complex pattern, her crimson eyes narrowing in concentration.
"Ignis, vara, cortohl!" she shouted, and a wall of blue flame erupted between them.
Isabella whistled.
