Merlin's gaze swept over the crowd noticing that Jason might not be comfortable talking about what he had incoved. "You all, leave us be," he commanded, and the crowd dispersed without hesitation, leaving Roya and Merlin alone with the ancient artifact ached in stone.
Once they were alone, Merlin's form solidified slightly as he asked, "Have you uncovered anything new?"
It was then that the air shimmered, and through a newly formed portal stepped Komodo, Mamba, and other saints, all with their eyes fixed intently on Roya. Heroes of old, Gandalf and Matilda, also materialized, their presence not bound by mortal constraints, thanks to the mystical energies provided by the Styx and Roya's own continuous supply of power they were free to travel while still being bound to the summoning spell.
The site, of significant importance, was naturally under vigilant guard, likely by a saint whose real presence could be nearby, hidden from plain sight.
