~1st person(Kali)~

After a bit of thinking Lilith nods her head sagely and says [My first step is... to let you decide what to do!]

[...not exactly what I was expecting you would come up with. Anyway, if it's up to me the first thing you will be doing is going to sleep. After that we will head out to make money, after all the world runs on it.] I say.

[Sounds good to me!] Lilith agrees then looks at Daisy who was just standing there not knowing what to do, "Daisy, tomorrow we are heading out. I have things I want to do so for now just go to sleep. I'll wake you when it's time to go."

Daisy nods and heads to what I presume to be her room.

Lilith carries me to the couch and she sets up to go to sleep.

[Why not sleep on one of the beds?] I ask

[I think couches are more comfortable, I don't like how spacious beds are.] Lilith goes silent for a moment then asks [Soo, do all weapons have life?]

I think for a moment and tell her my thoughts.

[I don't know the actual answer to that question, however it is my belief that they do. Depending on the person who owns the weapon and the person who made it. If the maker puts enough care into the weapon, and the owner continues that care, than maybe the weapon will one day gain life. That's what I believe anyway.]

[The way you speak... were you always a gun?]

[Nah, I used to be human... I'll tell you about it at a later date. For now, get some sleep.]

As soon as I end the conversation with Lilith I hear the sound of her soft snores. 'Looks like she was pretty tired. Well a lot did happen and I wouldn't call being forced unconscious getting rest, so it's no wonder why... Have a good rest Lilith, you deserve it'

~Time skip to morning~

[Lilith wake up, it's time to start.] At my words Lilith sits up, yawns, and stretches. She rubs her eyes, and opens them.

[Morning Ms. Kali] Lilith's soft voice rang in my head, [How do you plan to get money?]

[Well, we have to have sufficient strength to earn enough money. For now we just need enough to start your path on cultivation. I assume most places don't hire kids to work, and I don't trust your slave to get money for you, so you'll have to get money the same way you got me.]

Lilith frowns for a bit then looks at me and asks [So you want me to steal?]

[Exactly, you must remember that the world is cruel. If someone could gain something from killing you they would, so why wouldn't you take the things you need from others?] I conclude not thinking anything is wrong with my thoughts.

[Hey Jinx, are you still there?] I ask while making sure Lilith couldn't hear.

[Oh so now you remember I exist!] exclaimed the angry being.

[I never forgot you... I just didn't have time to talk with you.] I say despite having totally forgot about her.

[YES! That makes sense because how could anyone forget the amazing Jinx! Anyway, what do you need?]

[Is there any quest that needs to be done?]

[Yup! One just came in, here let me activate it for you!] Jinx responds happily

[Why doesn't it tell me how much is needed?] I ask

[Because the quest is special! You could earn as little as 1 cent and turn in the quest, but the reward would be trash. The more you turn in the better the reward! The money turned in will disappear however.] Jinx answers then says [Welp I gotta go, the creator wants me for something! Talk to you later!]

Zoning back in I see Lilith already dressed in a pair of black shorts and a black sweater. Her hair was still down, so I couldn't see her eyes. Daisy was standing in front of her slightly fidgeting around. Like Lilith, she was wearing black pants with a gray long-sleeve compression shirt. Her hair was put up in a ponytail.

[Alright, let's go and get some money.] With my words Lilith opens the door to the apartment and walks out into the hallway, soon followed by Daisy.

When we exited the building, we came to what looked like the main road. With all types of people waking up and down the road, it would be hard to cross. But this type of area would be perfect to rob someone and get away.

I tell my thoughts to Lilith and she nods then looks at Daisy. "My first order for you is to assist me in earning money. As you can see, the road is busy, and everyone is distracted with getting where they're going. We need to rob a few people. Don't go for those who look strong, stick to the weaker looking bunch. Understood?"

"Y-yes..." Daisy responds in a quiet voice.

Lilith looks up at Daisy with a smile and says "Good girl, meet me here in a few hours."

With that Lilith, carrying me in her sweater pocket, walks away from Daisy and onto the road. I tell her how to correctly pickpocket, and she try's her best to follow my instructions. For a while she kept getting caught, but as there were many people on the road and the fact that she was tiny, she kept getting away. After two hours she finally stole from some sick looking girl who didn't even notice that her coin purse was gone.

Lilith kept going and even stole from one buff looking guy. It only worked because the guy was clearly all brawn with no brain, because when Lilith stole from him she messed up and got his attention. She pathetically tried to cover it up as her wanting to just hug they guy and he, for some believed her. A few minuets after that we heard some down the street scream "FUUUUCK MY MONEYS GONE!!"

Lilith and I shared a chuckle and decided that was enough for now. Lilith went back to the spot and saw Daisy was already there looking around nervously. When she spotted Lilith she let out a sigh and walked towards her.

"So Daisy~ how was it?" Lilith asked in a chirpy voice.

"I-it went well... I got a lot for us- I mean you!" Daisy corrected herself receiving a nod from Lilith.

"What a good little worker, now c'mon let's get back to the apartment and count it up."

After the short trip spent in silence, we made it back to the apartment and Lilith immediately took out the coin purse she took form the lady. Instead of carrying around a lot of lose money, she put all of it in the pink purse.

Daisy also took out a rough looking leather pouch and set it in Lilith's hand.

Lilith opened the both the pouches and dumped their contents out into the table next to the couch.

Out came some rough looking coins in 3 colors with two colors having two different sizes.

Lilith looked at Daisy and asked "Do you know the value of each of these... I was never taught."

Daisy flinched a little with a slight look of regret on her face when Lilith finished speaking. "The bronze coins are the lowest value. 50 bronze coins equal 1 silver coin. The larger bronze coin equals 10 normal bronze coins. Next are the silver coins. 50 silver coins equals 1 gold coin, 1 large silver coin equals 10 normal silver coins. There is only 1 size of gold coins, and 100 gold coins is equal to a platinum coin."

"Good to know, so if I count correctly we have... 60 normal bronze, 2 large bronze, 20 normal silver, 3 large silver, and one gold coin." Lilith sums up.

[So we pretty much have 2 gold coins, 1 normal silver coin, and 30 normal or 3 large bronze coins] I say what the amount would be if it was simplified.

[Lilith, can I have 1 gold coin and 1 large silver? This would leave you with a total of 41 silver and 30 bronze.] I ask wanting to complete the quest

[Of course you can. You don't have to ask in the future, just tell me... I trust you. Though I do wonder what you will do with it?]

[That I can't tell you just yet, sorry] I respond. I actually wanted to tell Lilith the truth as I see no reason to keep it a secret but before I could, Jinx popped back for a second and told me not to tell anyone of her existence until we are strong enough. When I asked her why she wouldn't tell me.

Lilith just nods accepting my answer and watches as the money I requested just magically disappeared. The rest of the money was transformed into 41 normal silver coins, and 3 large bronze coins. I'm assuming for Lilith's convenience.

[Hey Jinx... is this skill really worth the little amount I have for the quest?]

[Its actually not that great of an effect of you think about it. The chance of a missed bullet bouncing back at the target is astronomically low, the skill you got only raises that chance. Before it might have been a 1 in a billion chance now it's around 1 in a thousand.] She clarifies.

[Thanks for clearing that up]

[Anytime, if you want to pay me back just tell me how great I am!] She says and begins laughing until she leaves again.

"Daisy, how much could this do for me?" Lilith questions probably wondering the value of the coins.

Daisy thinks for a bit before saying "Well, the place we are staying at normally costs 10 silver a month, so you could say it's a decent amount for the area we are in."

"That's great... but we must continue in our effort. These are only my first steps after all." Lilith grins a bit towards the end while I'm agreeing with the mentality she's going with.

Lilith looks towards Daisy and says "Let's begin our path today marks the start... I wonder where your path will end? I hope you will stay by my side so I don't have to end it early, ok?"

"I wouldn't dream of betraying you... not after what I've already done to you" Daisy responds whispering the last part.
