Ymir Part 4: Carnage Attacks

(Laharl/Chaos God POV)

Location the Nethervoid, inside the Domain of Ba'al Allseer, the depths of the Abyssal Library the Chamber of Prophecies

Things in Ymir are progressing smoothly, while my mortal followers were preparing for the greater invasion, the Chaos Sorcerer was also given commands by my fifth wife, and that command was to attack under orders of Cassandra.

Not only that, but the constant Carnage occurring across the Eldar's Empire was greatly empowering me, curious of when my next ascension to the Mid-High tier of gods Aillia told me that my stats must all be in the 50M, well it was no big deal as my stats were already in the 10Mill category.

With things going so well, I decided I needed Ba'al's concil and scrying again his prophecies led me to meet and marry Scalpel, Jade, and Cassandra as well as greatly enhancing my power, influence and strength in not just the mortal realm but within the Warp as well.

I already flew to Ba'al's cloister and entered the Abyssal Library, immediately I felt the chaotic library has grown in size and power eclipsing what it was before as I saw Void Wraiths floating around taking care of the shelves of books, and more needing to speak with Ba'al I went down to the lower level, and just like above it has greatly expanded, I used my [Physical Shift] to sprout my wings and fly down to the Chamber of Prophecies where Ba'al must be in, scrying the web of time, and describing all he witnesses.

Diving down in great speeds as my wings were coiled around my body to add more speed as I fall, rapidly passing countless shelves and areas filled with books, as void wraiths are scattered in the area, as I cut through the ghostly fog that covers the lower levels of the Abyssal Library I could sence the powerful presence of Ba'al getting closer as I free-fall.

After quite some falling, I saw the floor closing in, so I uncoiled my wing and, using my strength, flap all my wings, pushing me away and stopping my fall as I landed safely onto the stone obsidian floor pulsing with chaotic energy.

I finally reach the deepest floor within the Abyssal Library again, as I once again marvel at the chamber around I looked at the gigantic altar/personal library the floor was made from obsidian stone and in the center of the floor was glowing a light violet as thirteen long shelfs of books, with much more books, tomes, scrolls, and more stuffed in these shelves and place.

And just like last time I was here, I see Ba'al at the other edge of the Chamber of Prophecies looking at him in his trance all his thirteen eyes have been rolled on the back of his head, his six wings were spread releasing white feathers as they are caught in the psychic storm produced by the beholder Elder Daemon, and lighting shots out from various part of Ba'al as several Scriptors write down all he has said non stop, only difference is some of these void wraiths have ascended to high daemons aka Spectral Heralds.

Since I needed to talk to my elder daemon, I released a small amount of my power stopping the Scriptors from further writing and gain Ba'al's attention as all thirteen of his eyes rolled back to normal, coiling his angel wings over himself Ba'al roared unleashing a huge surge of warp-energies.

And once Ba'al saw me, he closed his eyes folded four of his wings up to his maroon skin, closing his mouth the beholder daemon tilted forward slightly in a form of a respectful bow and spoke to me via psychic means, "My Lord, and Father. Once again, welcome to my lovely abode." opening his eyes and returning to his normal state, Ba'al turned his sight on the Scriptors with a pulse of energy he made his command clear to these daemons to give us privacy, as they bowed to him then floated down to my level and bowing as well all thirteen of the Scriptors along with all other daemons left the chamber, leaving me with Ba'al taking a sit on a pile of books I listen as Ba'al continue to speak, " The Nethervoid and Warp tremble in the surge of Carnage and Blood that you and Lord Khorne are causing in the Materium. Hehehe. I, too, have been sending daemons to raid the archives of the Eldar, much of their feeble knowledge on the Warp has been interesting to read, but their skill in warp-energies and sorcery have proven quite useful to my arsenal of spells and sorcery." as the beholder finished reporting to me, which is quite useful in all honesty, since in the far future they'll become one of the primary forces of psykers in 40k.

I grumble remembering the annoying tactics, spells, and abilities those damn space elves have in the tabletop, so I was kinda...greatly enjoyable that I'm slaughtering and corrupting millions as I speak.

Once again, shaking off the fan rant that I go to when Eldar...or anything involving the good time with my bro, I looked at Ba'al and said, "Ba'al good thinking, preemptively raiding the eldar. But that isn't what I want from you now." standing up as Ba'al gave me his own version of curious look as I continue speaking, "I need you to scribe the progress of two beings...of Nurgle's birth and the rising plagues and suffering on Earth and...the Anathema progress on that damn planet."

Hearing the first request didn't provoke much reaction on Ba'al, mentioning the future God Emperor of Mankind did.

Ba'al admits the name the Anathema was fitting to that human, as Ba'al revealed that he has tried several times to scry into the far future involving the Corpse Emperor but his emence psychic might has pushed him out the web, which didn't surprise me GW so called leader of humanity that wants to be obeyed without question, but not be worshipped for "not" so godly feats.

I calm my most trusted daemon sorcerer and son, telling him I didn't need anything from the unavoidable fate of the Anathema, all I need is his current status and if he has discovered of me, while Khorne and his followers would be quite obvious who they are, I purposely avoided Earthlings so I can have some advantage over the Emperor in the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.

Hearing my explanation served to calm Ba'al as he responded that he'll scry immediately, as he closed his eyes and began to enter his trance state, opening all his eyes as they rolled back into his head, and his mouth was wide opened.

Seeing this, I took a sit in the same spot as before and awaited for Ba'al's report.

(General POV)

Location Nord Sector, Eldar World-Ymir, Alderi Settlement Azir'Ymir/Battlefield Eldar vs. Carnage Corrupted Alderi

Kala and the Azir'Ymir forces were amidst of battle, as the farseer was in a death-lock against a corrupted alderi seer that she used to call friend, her spear was clashing against the corrupted seer's ghostswords as the blood covered robed Seer was dual wielding and has even taught her much long ago, she pushed back the corrupted seer only for her enemy to focus her psyker power into a violet tinted blue wave that came flying towards Kala.

Forced to roll out the way of her enemy's attack, the blast soared past her, hitting a group of banshees, and seers engaging the corrupted alderi in close combat, upon hitting them a surge occurred forcing all the poor eldars affect by the wave onto their knees as steam burst out of their wraithbone armor, as they all screamed in unimaginable agony what Kala didn't known that was a Carnage Spell: Soul Rend, one of the gifts bestowed to the Carnage-touched alderi, which burns away the soul itself of those hit by the spell.

As the corrupted seer praised and offered their withering souls to Alka'lkarnak while madly laughing this enraged the farseer, hoistering her shuriken pistol, and grabbing tightly onto her singing spear she swore to Khaine that she'll kill her and all her former friend replied was, "The wannabe war god, is nothing without carnage Kala. And I am chosen by the Dark One that is Carnage itself." as the two once again clashed blades.

All around the area, Eldar was fighting Eldar, as banshees were cutting down the infected traitors driving in deep their Ghostswords into their victim, cleaving into the corrupted wraithbone armors of their former kin.

At the same time, in another area of the battlefield, the guardians were taking heavy losses as their fellow warriors were scattered around the snow, their corpses still fresh and bleeding but they didn't fall in bane as they have killed as much as their own have fallen, as their enemy were too unstable preferring to shot at them while charging to face the guardians in melee which resulted in many of their enemy being shot down.

Some have even tried their kamakazi tactics rushing in with live plasma grenades or melta bombs ready to go off upon their deaths or reaching their targets, but having experienced it before the guardians were ready and immediately counter this extreme tactic of their enemy, either by shooting at their targets legs or at the hand they held the explosives causing their enemy to become victims of their own explosions.

The Seers and Psykers provided support and backup to their allies either by firing psychic attacks on the enemy or forming barriers to protect from enemy fire.

The gruesome battle continued, unbeknownst to the Azir'Ymir eldar other forces were watching...

(Crystallyl POV)

Location Azir'Ymir outer limits, Hill overseeing the Battlefield

I didn't expect this, I thought that today would be a great hunt, especially with that massive Ymirian Bear as the game.

But instead me and my warriors stumbled upon a huge battle that appeared to be quite fun as not only I was feeling excited at the thought of crushing pompous alderi, my warriors were feeling it and as much as we want to join, the bastards of Azir'Ymir would surely find a way to insult, and opress us, along with taking all the glory, this made me mad and while my face was expressionless I know that my followers not only felt the same as me but also know what I'm feeling.

I felt Frostfang ster under me as I petted the head of my beloved beast, one of my most trusted snow hunters covered in a Snow Wolf pelt just like the rest came to my side kneeling as he told me that he and the other hunters have spotted the White Shadow some miles away, I smiled as I used one of shi'lanorai power, copping my right and left hands together over my mouth I channeled my Cryowitch powers of ice and blew through my hands as a gust of crystals and snow coated the wind and flew forward allowing me to feel all this cold wind touch, this is "Nord Wind Sight" spell now I can finally see if this Ymirian Bear is worth it.

(General POV)

Miles away from Azir'Ymir, a mutated beast, was rushing towards the chaotic battlefield driven by hunger and madness.

A dancing cold wind flowed around the creature, it is a massive behemoth of white and violet tinted thick fur bear, it had seven three clawed tip purple and black colored tentacles with black spikes, and several slit red eyes sprouting out it's back, massive, powerful legs and paws with huge violet colored razor-sharp claws digging into the snow.

The mutated Ymirian Bear head also had some mutations from the common black colored eyes turning a menacing red color, the three straight pointed, horns are violet tinted and a pair of huge sharp ram like horns curling at the side of the beast's head, the fangs of the bear have become larger, and longer coming exposed out the mouth of the beast as it snarled, growled at the wind still stomping it way towards Azir'Ymir.

(Crystallyl POV)

Just when I was about to make a decision after seeing the game, that behemoth of a White Shadow is a great prize.

Something happened in the Azir'Ymir battle, as me and my warriors saw a huge violet colored rift open behind the more savage alderi with white colored wraithbone armor with violet and black patterned on said armors, and from that rift came out an armor led by some humanoid with a bad vibes dressed in violet clothes and having a horned helmet on while wielding a scepter behind this man came a large force of dirty green skinned creatures armed with various macabre blades and axes, along with several guns that I've never seen immediately they attacked.

Seeing this chaos excites me and my warriors greatly, the carnage, the bloodshed, the destruction this is a true fight turning my head towards my warriors I ask, "Who's eager for a true battle!!!?" responding to my question, they cheered and raised their weapons to the air.

With a smile filled with excitement and a bit of battle hunger, I turned my gaze toward the battle with a gentle pull of my Frostfang's fur he bucked up and roared before rushing downwards the hill, with all my warriors chasing behind.

It's been ages since me and the Bloodstained Snow Beasts have been in a battle, and we're all eager to fight and kill as true warriors!
