THE CLOUD OF FROG DEVOURING

THE CLOUD OF FROG DEVOURING

Sara's Hell Tank was summoned into the plains of Delirium from my Faberge egg. We boarded our ship and flew into the sky. To our surprise, there were no magical clouds that stopped us.

"This is actually working, flying at night", Chash said to us.

"Finally, we are flying," Cassandra said.

Our ship flew across the plains of Delirium, leaving the adventurers behind in this realm behind. Soon, we were about to reach our destination.

"We are almost upon the Castle of Delirium", Chash told us.

"If we have known earlier about this bloody loophole in this realm, we would have reached the castle already", Sara said to us.

It seemed the magic of the Delirium realm was different. During the day, there were powerful magical clouds in the sky that would prevent anyone here from flying.

Flying was only allowed at night.

Finally, we were about to reach Castle Delirium.

"Boom…Kaboom"

Suddenly, the canyon around us was suddenly up in flames. Our ship was attacked by a powerful explosive attack that jolted us violently.

------

A seed was conjured within the clouds in the sky, rapidly gaining momentum as the surrounding air whirled into motion. The seed moved forward, absorbing the magic from the cloud, which began to solidify it.

But the seed was not satisfied with just the magic; it hungrily consumed even the light in the sky, leaving a growing darkness in its wake.

As the seed advanced, it began to take form, morphing into a creature—a persistent amphibian, a frog.

This frog, endowed with the sentience typical of its kind, started leaping through the darkening sky. With each leap, it absorbed more magic, growing larger with every bound.

However, the frog's relentless gathering of magic was not destined to last forever. The immense power it had accumulated would soon need to be unleashed.

Ahead of the devouring seed-frog was a mysterious flying ship, an anomaly in this realm where flight was thought to be impossible. Yet, this ship defied all logic, hovering gracefully in the sky—the very target of the seed's ominous journey.

As the seed-frog reached the ship, it detonated in a massive explosion, one powerful enough to obliterate towns, cities, or any ordinary ship of its size.

But mysteriously, the ship emerged from the explosion almost unscathed, surviving the destructive force of the devouring cloud-frog.

"What the hell happened here?" Melroy asked us as he hugged his wives tightly upon the impact suffered by our ship.

"I knew it wouldn't be so easy to reach Delirium Castle", Chash told us.

"Damage report?" I asked Sara.

"Shields at 80% effectiveness", she replied to me.

Sara's special Hell Tank was attacked by a powerful explosion caused by someone who came to block our way. Then I realized who he was. He was the Warlock of Delirium.

It seems there was no avoiding Warlock of Delirium in the end.

"It is the Warlock of Delirium", Meera told us.

"What shall we do now?" Cassandra asked me.

"We parlay", I replied to her.

"What?" Melroy asked.

"There is no fighting against the powerful Warlock of Delirium because he is too powerful for us to handle. But he had a weakness that we could make use of", I told them.

"Which is?" Ratatouille asked me.

"He is stupid", I replied to him.

------

"Let us pass, your magic doesn't harm us at all", I told the warlock on our ship's speakers.

Although the warlock's attack did destroy some of our Hell Tank's force shields, from the naked eye, our ship was relatively unscathed.

The Warlock was shocked by the strength of our ship that managed to withstand his powerful strike, but he wasn't deterred by it.

"Indeed, you are quite strong to survive my skill, Radiant Frog Controlling the Sun. But that will not deter me from destroying your demon ship. I'll destroy you eventually if it takes a hundred cast", the warlock replied to us determined to destroy us and not talk.

"I thought you said he is stupid. Why is he attacking us again?" Ratatouille asked me.

"The moron is stupid that is why he is attacking again. His stupidity made him misjudge the situation and he is berserk on attacking our ship", Sara explained to him.

"Then 'Stupid' is not his weakness but his strength", Ratatouille countered.

The warlock was trying to summon his magic again when I stopped him. And he surprisingly stopped.

"Wait, wait. There is no need to go all violent. Why do you attack us for no reason?" I asked the warlock on the speakers.

The Warlock stopped to think about it. There really was no reason for him to attack us from nowhere.

"No ship can fly in Delirium. Any ship that flies I will break it", Warlock told us.

"It seems the clouds in the sky during the day weren't the only thing enforcing the ban of flight in Delirium. Warlock is stopping ships from flying at night", Chash told us.

"Why will he do that? That doesn't benefit him at all?" Cassandra asked.

"It does benefit him. If adventurers in this realm realized they could fly toward Castle Delirium at night, they would not stay where they were waiting for the Warlock's eagles to pick them up one by one", Sara told us her opinion.

"We can give you anything that you want if you will leave us alone", I offered to Warlock on the speakers of our ship.

Warlock thought about the matter for a while before he responded, "There is nothing that I want from you".

The Warlock began casting his magic again.

"No, we have something you may want", I told Warlock on the speakers of our ship and surprisingly, Warlock stopped casting his magic again.

"What do you think I will want from you?" Warlock asked me.

"The Heart of the Dark Angel", I replied to Warlock, and he quickly stopped his hostile actions against our ship.

"The Heart of the Dark Angel? How do you know I am looking for it in this place?" Warlock asked us.
