CHAPTER START---

"JIN SATSUJIN VS SASUKE UCHIHA!" Hayate announced.

"Damn it!" Jin exclaims, to those who don't know him it would be reasonable to assume he doesn't want to fight the Sharingan user. That is until he continues. "There goes my chance of fighting someone that doesn't suck, Sasuke can you just surrender so we can leave already?" He asks in a jovial tone.

The entire room fell completely silent hearing this.

"No, I'm going to beat you. You will be a stepping stone on my path" Sasuke coldly says before stepping into the arena quickly followed by Jin.

Arriving at the arena and standing opposite each other, Jin decides to speak up once more.

"How about a deal then huh Mr.Endangered Species. If I win you give me half of the Uchiha fortune!" As Jin said this everyone was completely shocked. Even Sasuke was surprised that he would ask for something like that though he did not show it.

"What does someone from no clan have that would make me accept that?" Sasuke asks through gritted teeth, clearly insulted.

"Well, what do you want? Why Itachi left you alive? How to upgrade Sharingan? How to upgrade to Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan maybe? Anything like that interests you?" Jin says in a playful tone.

As Jin spoke everyone looked doubtful at his words. Even the Hokage glared at him with clear doubt in his heart.

"What would an outsider know about the Sharingan? False claims from a nobody!"

"Byakugan, Sharingan... and the other one. Hmm, can't recall the name." Jin says as he taps the side of his blindfold. " The Uchiha and Hyuga are so consumed with their pride that you really think you stand at the top. How about this. If you can even land a hit on me I'll tell you. Now, do you accept?"

"I accept," Sasuke says as he takes his fighting stance, clearly pissed off.

"Time for me to get paid. You made this in the presence of our Kage so say goodbye to your cash," Jin says as he simply stands with his hands at his side.

'Hmm, if this boy is serious that would explain quite a bit. But we confirmed he doesn't have any kekkai Genkai The third Hokage thought as he looked at the fight.

"BEGIN!"

As Hayate signaled the start of the match Sasuke immediately ran forward. Instantly activating his Sharingan Sasuke move to strike at Jin's head before he could react.

'Boring' Jin thinks as he tilts his head to the side and slams his palm into Sasuke's ribs.

As Sasuke skids across the floor, he rolls and gets back onto his feet before placing a hand over his ribs. Brandishing a few shuriken he immediately throws them before making a tiger hand seal and activating his jutsu.

"Fire Release: Pheonix Flower Jutsu"

As Sasuke's shuriken are enveloped by the flames they accelerate the move even faster toward Jin who seems completely unimpressed.

'Earth Release: Mud Wall'

As Jin claps his hands together and slams them into the ground a three-sided wall appears blocking Sasuke as well as the observers from seeing him inside.

"He didn't use any hand seals" Kakashi quickly says, his Sharingan already active to observe the fight.

"Hmm, he really is talented," Guy says next to him, as the other genin hear this even team Gaara takes a deeper interest in the fight.

As Sasuke watches his shuriken pierce the wall like simple darts he sees a small crack appear in the wall. Using his Sharingan he barely dodges to absurdly fast kunai moving directly to his head.

'What the hell, he aimed at me by sensing, I need to break those walls' Sasuke thinks to himself as he runs forward and leaps into the air.

"Great Fireball Jutsu"

As the fireball is launched and slams into the simple walls it demolishes the structure. Everyone is on edge as nobody saw Jin escape the attack.

As the dust settles everyone is completely shocked to see Jin standing in the same spot completely unharmed.

"Your flames can barely light a candle, you should practice more," Jin says as he keeps his hands at his sides.

'That's impossible, no, the area behind him wasn't affected, he used something to stop my attack. I've got to get closer' Sasuke thinks as he quickly rushes his target.

Beginning his taijutsu assault, his opponent is not as daunting as he expected in this area, but every small attack Jin lands feels like being hit by a hammer. Each of his hits makes Sasuke's bones tremble and bruises his skin. As they exchange a few blows Sasuke leaps backward one more time to make space, now unsure of what to do.

"Realise anything strange Sasuke?" Jin asks as there is a lull in the fight.

'What's he talking about now?'

"I haven't moved from this tile all fight, you aren't even strong enough to make me move," Jin says with a smile on his face.

As his words ring out everyone takes a closer look at the arena.

"Shit, he's right," kankuro says.

"When did he get so strong? Is, is Sasuke gonna be ok?" Sakura questions.

"KICK HIS ASS SASUKE!" Naruto yells from the sidelines.

As Sasuke draws a kunai and prepares to engage once more.

*CLAP*

Jin claps both his hands together before pulling them to his side as balled fists and exhaling.

'Fire style: Great Fireball'

Suddenly, with no hand signs or real warning a massive fireball, completely dwarfing Sasuke's is formed. The attack begins to destroy the floor of the arena as it approaches Sasuke.

*CLAP*

'Wind style: Great Breakthrough'

Exhaling once more a sudden powerful wind slams into the fireball, the heat in the room swells even more as the wind blows around the room. As the attack slams into the far wall, it proceeds to tear a hole through the solid wall and dissipate above the forest outside.

"Maybe I overdid it a little. SORRY LORD HOKAGE I'M NOT USED TO FIGHTING IN FRIENDLY PLACES!" Jin comically apologizes.

Seeing this everyone is startled that he was able to use these two jutsu back to back with no hand seals.

"Isn't that a bit much Kurenai?" Kakashi asks while holding his mouth through his mask.

"I wish I could take credit for that!" She angrily replied as she glared daggers at Jin.

"You're even stronger than I thought," Sasuke says, suddenly appearing from the rubble at the side of the arena, barely out of the way of the fireball. As he steps into everyone's view there are clear burns on his arms and face as well as his legs.

"You haven't seen anything yet," Jin says as he grins at Sasuke.

"That means, you can take it" Sasuke states as he shifts into a low crouch, his left hand holding his right wrist.

'Chidori' Jin thinks.

"Hey what're you doing?" He asks, keeping up his act.

"Kakashi, isn't that jutsu a bit much?" Asuma asks his friend.

"His opponent isn't exactly normal."

"Yeah, that's fair."

As Sasuke builds his lightning attack more than he ever has before, his curse mark flares up causing it to spread down to his elbow.

'Hmm, he's actually going all out against me' Jin thinks.

In the audience, the jounin are prepared to act if the mark goes any further.

"CHIDORI!" Sasuke yells out, as he instantly accelerates past his normal top speed, his curse mark flows even further down his arm causing Kakashi to prepare to subdue him.

The moment the Chidori is almost at Jin's chest, however, the attack suddenly disappears. In an instant, Jin grabs Sasuke's wrist and slams him into the ground once more.

*CRACK*

The sound of bones breaking is heard throughout the entire room as Sasuke is completely unconscious on the floor. Looking at Kakashi only a meter away Jin simply says "Don't let him forget my money" before using body flicker and reappearing at his team's side.

Naturally, everyone is completely shocked. Nobody understands what just happened, to their eyes it appears that the moment Jin grabbed Sasuke's wrist the Chidori disappeared. They have no way of knowing he absorbed it before making contact.

With the eyes of everyone locked on him, Jin advances to the next stage.

After drawing their numbers, a large smile formed on Jin's face once more as he saw the matchups for the next stage.
