Rosie floated behind Hilda while looking at the young man entering the tent. The man sat on the chair across from the table, glancing at the inside of Hilda's tent.
"Looking for a mate or dreaming of wealth?" Hilda asked, making the young man gasp in surprise.
He scratched his hair awkwardly then cleared his throat to erase the awkward feeling hovering in his heart.
"Um… I-I want to propose to a woman," the man said, causing Rosie to whistle at him.
Hilda refrained herself from smiling at Rosie's very random response. The girl whistled? She thought at least the princess should try to stay elegant and dignified, right?
"Hm…" Proposing a woman was a frequent case, thought Hilda. She knew very well where the story went even before the man told her.
"Her father is… one of the silk cloth merchants in my town, but… I… am just a silkworm farmer," he said shyly.
