Lijuan's Change

While jogging Lijuan was thinking about her past experiences and her treatment in the school. In the past or in the present she never really cared about what other people thought about her. She would turn blind eye to those gossips and misunderstandings about her in the school. Now also she is not going to change her attitude towards those kids in the school. She was not reborn to waste her time in mending her relationship with her classmates. Instead, she will concentrate on improving her grades on a study pace and earn every possible honour for the school. Not for the school's sake but for her parent's sake. She wants her name to be on the achiever's board in the school and bring a great honour to her parents. Both of them will go mad with joy. They never asked her to do anything but they always hoped her to do her best in her studies. So, in this life she will make them proud. She should also meet her grandfathers and listen to their guidance. She has always been close to her grandfathers. But from past few years she is visiting them less and less due to school and to spend more time with Lu Meirong. Her grandfathers valued bloodline, and they never allowed her to bring Lu Meirong to the old house. Her Mother and father's ancestral house. They are magnificent villas in a south part of the capital, very big and looks like a cultural relic, both of her maternal and paternal grandfathers love old Chinese antiques and paintings. The villas are filled with historic vibes and every single item is of high value. Lu Meirong always envied her for being able to go to the villas and stay in that place like a princess. She doesn't know if her grandfathers could sense Lu Meirong's bad intensions or it's just their experience over the years, they wouldn't welcome her into the house. Lijuan made multiple tries but she failed every time and even angered her grandfathers. So, to maintain peace she would visit them alone with her parents and reduce the time she spent with them so she could come back and spend more time with Lu Meirong. Her grandfathers are also the reason why Lijuan is still sane and not completely a puppet to Lu Meirong. They always teach her and make her learn the history, make her experience hardships and understand the value of life. Though Lijuan listens to Lu Meirong most of the time, she also follows her grandfathers instructions, and spend time in learning new things. Now it's the right time for her to salvage her relationship with her grandfathers and let them discipline her. Since she has vacation she will stay with her parents for some time, and divide her time staying with her grandfathers. She should tell them to prepare strict schedule for her. Thinking about her future course of actions, Lijuan finally stopped jogging and sat on the near by seat and rested for a while.

Lee Jianguo didn't had time to go for jog so he spent some time in the gym and took a shower and came down for breakfast. Hua Mulan was also on regular schedule, instructing the kitchen staff to prepare the breakfast. Lee Jianguo was reading the news paper sitting on the sofa in the hall and Hua Mulan was busy in the kitchen. As usual, Lu Meirong finished her piano practice and came down for breakfast. Everything was going normal until the house bell rang. Hua Mulan thought someone came home so early in the morning, it should be some urgent matter and she came out of the kitchen to see. While the security guard was opening the gate for Lijuan, he was shocked in the morning when she came down early in the morning looking like she was going for a jog, which was a rare occurrence. He smiled widely at Lijuan and welcomed her back. All the maids and guards in the house like Lijuan because she is sweet at home and never treated any of them badly. She would even given them chocolates or sweets if she gets any. She speaks less but does care about the feelings of other people around her. Lijuan also gave the security guard a big smile and came inside the house which gave him a shock. He thought to himself, 'Little miss should be in a good mood, she smiled so happily and she looks like an angel when she smiles. His day will be good today'.

Lijuan had a fresh morning, she came inside the house humming a happy tune. The moment she entered the door, the people waiting in the hall were shocked. Lu Meirong mouth was wide open, she lost her composure for a second. Never in her wild dreams can she think of this fool waking up early? Not even when she was going on trips or getting huge pocket money! What on the earth happened today?

Lee Jianguo and Hua Mulan were rather surprised by their daughter's enthusiastic behavior. Just yesterday she said she would do and today she is already following it. Whatever made her change it's a good thing. She is finally back on track. They felt relieved. It seems like they don't need to put too much efforts in disciplining their daughter, she is changing on her own which is good for all of them.

Lijuan greeted everyone with a sweet smile and went back to her room to take a shower. She went through her wardrobe clothes, chose the most elegant and simple outfit; she quickly got ready and headed back to the dining hall for her breakfast.

Seeing her coming down the stairs, Lee Jianguo and Hua Mulan moved to the dinning table followed by Lu Meirong. Lu Meirong was very quiet today; she was getting quite a lot of surprises since yesterday. She was not able to accept the sudden changes in Lijuan. The Lijuan whom she knew was not like this, she was rather a gloomy and arrogant person under her careful nurture. But all of a sudden, she became the "Lee Lijuan" sole heir for the Lee and Hua family. She looks like a well-mannered young lady of a rich family. How did this fool changed so much in a single day? What did she miss? When did things changed without her noticing it!
