"No, I haven't seen or perceived their scent but that doesn't mean that we should celebrate now. We shouldn't let our guard down until the last minute," Charlie whispered into her ears so that Gabriel and Clifford will not hear what they are discussing.
They were still whispering to each other when Stephanie and Vincent reached their table.
"The woman of the hour is finally here. You stole the limelight as always," Clifford said jokingly. He stood up and embraced Stephanie.
"I have missed you so much, little sister. I hope your mum is doing better now?" Clifford asked. He patted Stephanie's back affectionately.
"She is doing a lot better compared to when I arrived there. Also, I have missed you too," Stephanie replied with a smile. She hugged him a bit longer.
"Cliff, that is enough already. Don't forget there are still many of us who are waiting to welcome her too," Gabriel said teasingly.
