Lost Voices

The entrance to the Temple of Lost Voices loomed before them, dark and foreboding. The wind howled as it whipped around the mountainside, rattling the leaves and vines that concealed the entrance. Emily, Calem, and Mara stood in silence, taking in the sight of the ancient structure. Time had worn away much of its exterior, but there was no mistaking the aura of power that emanated from the temple.

Emily's heart pounded in her chest as she took a step forward, the relic at her neck pulsing with energy. It seemed to hum in anticipation, as if it had been waiting for this moment. The air around them felt charged, and Emily couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

"We should be careful," Mara said quietly, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword. "If this place holds the answers we're looking for, it also holds danger. The figure might already know we're here."
