Rebirth of humanity savior

The human race did live on top of the food chain for a long time. Their intelligence gave them the power to reign over the blue planet although having weak bodies, but their greed will be their end. This is a story about Ben Lupus, who goes back in time. Trying to change the fate of humanity, he will climb up the ranks of the food chain. PS: This is my first webnovel so please be gentle! As I am a European, I will naturally name the character as Europeans do, so first comes the forename, and second comes the family name. I am very thankful for each constructive criticism and I will try to improve my novel. I don't have the copyright of the picture, if you own it please report and I will take it down. New Info: {I have some personal issue…so there won't be new chapter for now.} New chapter are made, but will only be released after finishing the first volume to avoid mistakes. Hope you will be ready for a mass-release. How about releasing everything for new year?

Days of Training

Arriving home, Ben went to the basement. After finding their basketball, he pumped air in it and went to a nearby playground with a basket.

Ben started to do his workout. In his breaks, Ben shot hoops from all directions and distances. He wasn't gifted with talent or with a high size, but the control over his body was due to calisthenic and parkour great.

Ben also tried some dribble techniques, but he was greatly dissatisfied by how slowly he learned the moves.

´How good would I be if I had a basketball skill? How come I ask such a stupid question? What use is basketball in the future? Nothing, only the best of the best will still have a bit of fame and a good income.´

After training, Ben ate with his family, he didn't tell them his art grade because it will only damp the surprise.

In his room, Ben turned on his pc. He wanted to know the way things are going with the bid of stocks.

Looking on the website, Ben was pleasantly surprised. Ben had the mentality that his plans could fail at any step, so he never felt enraged from things not going according to the plan. Only feeling slight happiness with each successful step and little discomfort each surprise or stumble on the way.

He now held 95% of the listed stocks in the stock market of Gold fields. But this still wasn't enough. Ben modulated his bid that it will disappear in the next days, which could be seen by the holder. This was to put pressure on the stockholder. His bid made the Gold fields stock stabilize its value, the moment it disappears it will lose again some value. So the comment made everyone sell their Gold field stocks.

In the following 3 days, Ben went to school and trained diligently his basketball skills.

On Thursday, Ben went directly after school to the university. He wanted to ask his fellow tracer what excuses he could use for the days he comes back late and for the next holidays, in which he wanted to train Parkour with the other.

Ben: "So do you guys have a good excuse?"

Jeff: " Easy, for the now, you can just lie to your parent that you want to go to the Higher Regional Court in Stuttgart to decide if it could be something for your study.

Your parents will probably be happy that you are interested in the law and that you show so much engagement. You can also just say you do a practicum somewhere, but that lie can easily be seen through."

Ben was surprised by how good the excuse was. Everyone could visit certain cases in the court and it wasn't a place where his parents could possibly visit him. He thanked Jeff for his good excuse.

Steven: "For the holiday problem, I have a good solution. Just claim that you found a holiday job and you can go with us."

Ben: "This won't do it. My parents would want to know the place I will work and they could ask the owner of the shop."

Luke: "Aren't you a bit overcautious, how likely is it that they do that?"

Ben: "Each probability is a risk to destroy my plan. So I will minimize the risk as much as possible."

Steven: "Marcus owns his own bar, so if you want a contract just ask him."

Marcus: "Steven, I don't need anyone and even less somebody, who isn't working."

Ben: "Would it be possible to just have a contract, I won't go to the law because you don't pay me."

Marcus: "Can't your parents access to your account?"

Ben: "They can, but I have another bank account with some money on it. So I can easily deceive them."

Steven: "Wow, are you living a double life?"

Ben: "Don't joke around, I just practice a bit of Calisthenics and Parkour. Marcus, can I count on you?"

Having finally found the answer, he went home happily. In that dinner, he lied to his parents about being interested in the law. He did have a guilty conscience, but this was the path he chose, lying and killing weren't things he liked to do, but if there weren't any consequences he wouldn't hesitate.

On Friday, Ben played with his friends basketball. Ben used only two-third of his speed and still reigned on the field. His friends were greatly shocked. Ben's moves were only standard moves, but the progress between how badly Ben played in the last sports lesson and now was too big. It made them think that Ben improved too fast.

They couldn't know that last time, Ben was still weakened due to skill creation and in addition, he was thinking about parkour.

Ben's classmate will have to fight the true strength of him.

Meanwhile, in another city, Efron Wroque was discussing with his friends about the message of Ben Lupus. Everyone was skeptical, how Ben heard about their idea to make their own company. They were still working on their first invention.

Their skepticism didn't end there, as they also couldn't understand how much a 16-year-old boy, who doesn't seem to be well of, could invest in their company.

Even though they were skeptical about it, they still decided that Efron should call Ben as they wouldn't lose anything by calling.

Efron forgot to call Ben in the next 2 days because he was too concentrated on the construction of the prototype chip.
