Pan Anzi

Yusheng watched calmly as Pei Jin throws water on the man before them, waking him up. Like a scared deer he looks around, struggles his chained limbs and his fear rising upon seeing pei jin.

"Your highness... I didn't do anything.. mercy" cries the man.

Pei Jin curls his lip into a malicious smirk "Pan Anzi.. head steward of tea making... mm.. gave benwang quite a work to have you here. Now.. like you have guessed, benwang has all the things that is enough to prove what you did."

Taking out several folded letters he starts "Pan Anzi 28 of age, came to work in the palace seven years ago. Able to bribe now and then raised up from menial servant to vice steward of tea making. After the sudden death of head steward you were yet again promoted to be the head steward.

Benwang has your family retained and according to them they came to the capital at the beginning month of the fifth year. A man came to help them from the village to the house that they are settled.

Benwang also found that the house price was not paid by you but rather your uncle who claimed to return the money he borrowed from your father.

After settling your family, not once the man had been seen till now. You mother claims the man to be your friend, while he claimed to be your uncle. Similarly the man has never visited you again.

Pei Jin wanted Anzi to cooperate through pressure so he wouldn't have to show his demonic nature infront of yusheng. If not for Yusheng he would have already started to torture Anzi in the underground prison of Qinwang.
