Nearly blinded

Half an hour later the carriages came to halt. The tents have been erected and servants were hustling to place cushion's and tables on one side.

While on other the fire had started ti make warm and easy breakfast.

One after another people alighted from their carriages. Beside the royals all the other families had to maintain a distance, prepare their own tents and arrangements.

Seeing Yusheng empress rushed to hold her hand "Sheng'er.. you must be hungry ah.. come come..I have some handmade snacks till the dishes are ready.. a growing lady should eat well ah" while saying she pulls Yusheng to the tent erected for them.

Emperor was unhappy that his wife had left him in blink of eye, also she didn't share these handmade snacks with him earlier. Pei Jin too was not happy upon seeing his beloved snatched by his mother.

With his dark and unhappy eye he asks "what... don't look at this son...it's between you and your wife.. don't drag me and Yu'er.. also spend more time with your wife.. so that she doesn't have time to snatch my wife.."

Emperor had belly filled with anger but he dare not shout in fear of his wife becoming annoyed but he still sneers at his son's ears "hmpph.. will look at you till blinded.. unfilial son.. it's your wife that attracts my wife like a magnet.. even gets to eat the handmade snacks..."

Pei Jin smirks at his father making him anxious "Oh! so it's like that..I will definetly make sure to tell muhou each word.." Emperor immediately smiles even puts his arm on his son's shoulder "good son..filial son.. hehe.. father was just praising your wife ah.. she is so brilliant.. umm.. it's good to have good bonding as mother and daughter"

Pei Jin looks at his scared father and feeling pleased flings his fathers arm "Umm..good you know.. still have your wife not to pay too much attention to Yu'er.."

Emperor wanted to beat this son of his but could only stand back and watch as he went towards the tent. Looking around he finds his fourth son thus grabs him to vent his tantrum "why are shaking like a leaf?... so unsightly.. don't think that father doesn't know of your late night parties and acting like ruffians.. I tell you behave before this father tightens that skin of yours"

Pei Zhang helplessly watched his father huffing and stomping his legs to the tent. He felt with these two couples he had no place in the family. With his dried up face he slowly and hesitantly also moves towards the tent.

In the long table empress and Yusheng had already started to sip on tea and munch on snacks. Pei jin sit besides Yusheng and pulls the snacks plate while pushing it to his pouting father.

"Breakfast will be here soon, having too much snack will decrease the appetite, Fuhuang seems to be hungry have some to pad the belly" explains Pei Jin to the ladies.

Empress agrees with him and turns to see her husband stuffing snacks like a greedy child "why are you eating in hurry?..be are full to not choke.. share some with zhang'er too" chides the empress.

Emperor looks at his son like a beast protecting it's food. Unable to hold his glare Pei Zhang answers "muhou..son is not that hungry.. let Fuhuang have them"

Soon the table was filled with warm dishes. Pei Zhang couldn't feel the taste at all. As on his left side was his demon brother totally focused on serving his demoness wife. While on right was his father equally fawning on his mother.

The love in the air was suffocating him and the scene was almost making his sight blind. Having to eat dog food in the morning his appetite was out of the mind. Still he had his face down trying to finish as soon as possible so that he can be relieve his eyes and lungs.
