Jing

The carriages were welcomed by the entire Jing city. Duke Zhongyong along with his family was at the front to welcome the royals. After the formalities they travelled to the villa where the royals were staying for this three days.

The villa was very big and beautiful befitting for the royals while other's were send to their respective post houses. Duchess Wei and empress were locked in embrace with tears in their eyes. It was after a very long time that they were together.

Both duke and emperor consoled their wife and introduces Yusheng as a new meme bee of the valley. The people were about to salute when Yusheng forbids them "there is no outsider here.. as we are one family.. no need for such formalities"

Duchess appreciates Yusheng's broad mind and beauty. She had heard a lot about Yusheng from her husband and eldest son. The words didn't give much justice when seeing the person.

Lunch had been prepared the entire lunch went by laughters and chatters. Though some were cautious of Yusheng in their heart for offending her somehow. But as time went by her laughter eased their hearts.

Sipping on digestive tea all the females beside Yusheng went to inner courtyard to gossip about life of their own and other's. While the males and Yusheng was listening to duke about the preparations done and needed to be done in the hunting ground.

After an hour ending their discussions, duke with his sons and grandsons went to do their duties while females were still in their gossip world. Emperor went for a nap, Pei Zhang happily followed his grandfather and cousins while Pei and Yusheng went out to tour the city.

Jing was as prosperous as the capital. Duke having the helm of the city was the reason for its prosperity. The markets were crowded and buzzed with people. The most famous thing in Jing was Jades and wine, almost half of the jade circulated in the entire Nanling come from Jing.

With the vast numbers of Jade mines emperor felt and had duke zhongyong be in control of Jing. There were several stone houses where people were crowded to find out what kind of jade would be cut out.

Yusheng felt refreshed and happy as it was her first time being to a new place. Like a curious baby her head was turning left and right making Pei Jin chuckle.

Ashamed and annoyed by his chuckle "what.. what's so funny?" snarls Yusheng at Pei Jin. While he pulls her closer and lightly taps her shoulder to coax "nothing.. just remembered something tao had done.. silly thing he is..." replies Pei Jin cleverly dumping the trash on Tao.

Behind tao felt helpless and he wanted to rush out to defend himself but could only follow 5 steps behind walking like a scolded child.

An hour of touring the street market, Pei Jin takes her to a tea house for light snacks and drink. It was one of the famous and oldest tea house. With top notch quality teas and tea makers it was a place fought for a table.
