Invitation

Soon all the people gathered at the platform for the lunch. Each one appearing humble than other. Though they were greeting each other warmly their feelings inside differed. All of them were curious about lord of the valley whom they have heard a lot but yet to see.

Beside huajin other nations were fully prepared to show good sides and cement their ties with lord of the valley and Nanling. Huajin also had the thought of cementing ties with Yusheng but didn't put Nanling in their eyes. Shiyou had plans to win over Yusheng while creating a rift in between the new couple.

After the formal greeting all of them waited for the new couple. All of them sucked breathe when seeing the beautiful Yusheng with equally handsome Pei Jin by her side upon entering the venue. All of them stood and gave greeting to Pei Jin while saluting Yusheng.

Shiyou felt his heart tremble upon seeing her beauty, greed and lust arising also sourness when seeing Pei Jin at her side. He could see her coat dragging past him scratching his heart.

After the new couple took their seat and Yusheng's at ease all of them sat on their table. Pei Jin was already sour by the gazes that were falling in his beloved now and then.

"Welcome to Nanling.. Zhen is grateful to all nations for heeding the call and making this hunt possible..Zhen hopes with this gathering all of us will have our friendly bonds tightened..Zhen hopes all of your stay will be filled with fun and peace.. the hunt will begin from tomorrow for a week.." greets emperor to all the envoys.

The dishes were served and the lunch began with good mood. They could see Yusheng's importance in Nanling from where her seat was. They could also feel the intimacy of the couple and her position in Pei jins heart when seeing how he served her meticulously.

Shiyou felt his eyes pricked when seeing Pei Jin so close to Yusheng. His malicious thoughts reaching to peak. The greed to obtain Yusheng and her power rising to ten fold. His appetite somewhat returning when remembering his schemes he had prepared for Pei Jin.

Soon after lunch everyone were served with digestive tea. Taking the chance the crown prince from Qing stands up "Jisheng thanks to the emperor.. imperial father also sends his regard to emperor and empress wishing 100 years life.. also congratulates Nanling for the newly crowned prince.. Qing also expresses immense happiness and wishes for the lord of the valley on her betrothal with the crown prince"

Emperor nods his head indicating he received the wishes while Pei Jin stands to respond "Benwang thanks emperor of Qing for his wishes". Yusheng also nods to show she received the wishes.

Following the Qing, envoys from Khan also expresses goodwill and wishes. Finally it was Xu Shiyou from huajin who stood up "Huajin expresses goodwill to emperor and congratulates union of crown prince and the lord of valley. Emperor of huajin also expresses his hope to meet lord of the valley in future if possible in the upcoming countries meet."

All the people widen their eyes at the daring invitation from the crown prince of huajin and look toward Yusheng to hear her response. Yusheng had her face down her fingers playing with the rim of her cup while listening to Shiyou.

Finally looking up she meets with her nemesis eyes and with calm face she responds "hmm.. this lord has received the wishes from emperor of huajin..about visiting the emperor this lord has to clear some matter.. crown prince this lord has very short temper and tend to be irritated very easily.. killing the person has always been the solution to end this lords anger.. because the emperor of Nanling and this lord being friends some stupid ones were just demoted keeping their lives.. thus this lord visiting huajin may not be pleasant if were to be angered.."

Everyone felt their heart tremble while the people from Nanling had their lips twitching. Yusheng was clearly indicating that if she were to be offended in huajin then she would kill the person disregarding their status. She was challenging whether huajin still dared to invite her knowing her temper and methods.

Shiyou and his entrouge also felt the chill and tremble in their hearts. Some of her punishments had already reached their ears and not one dared to think that she was just bluffing. After taking a moment Shiyou regains his composure and answers" your esteem lordship known in the entire world definetly cannot be slighted.. it would be a great honour for huajin to have you as a guest.. for the stupid ones huajin too would deal with same methods.."

Hearing his reply Yusheng nods "hmm..if it is like that then this lord will think over the matter." Shiyou sits back with puffed chest while the people of Nanling look at him with pity. His reply was equal to giving Yusheng free pass to turn the entire huajin up and down.

While Shiyou was thinking ways to have Yusheng attaches to himself and huajin. He clearly didn't believe that Yusheng had deep love for Pei Jin and he definetly had a chance to obtain her. The princes from Qing and khan were wise enough to shut their mouths and go along with the flow only praising Yusheng and Pei Jin once in a while.
