First lantern festival

Royal palace was in a warmer mood. After all the recent happenings it was like this festival was to sweep away the gloominess that had been staying above the palace as dark clouds.

Various beautiful lanterns had been sent to all the people redeemed worthy by emperor and empress. Today the entire nation was filled with beautiful light variation of colours and excited buzzing of people.

The palace itself was beautifully decorated, the banquet hall arranged prime and proper. People invited were seated dressed lightly with jovial faces. Though some like third prince and his few lackeys felt sour but in surface they dare not show it.

Third prince was now like a mad man with lots of rage. But a little thankful that he wasn't implicated because of his mother or maternal clan. He was waiting for the prime minister to be back in court so they could plan and salvage the situation.

He still felt with the hidden army and riches they had hidden he will be able to seat in the throne. He also had another trump card which he was very confident about hence he though felt heartache from the situation still was haughty inside.

He really wanted to act sick today if he hadn't learned that Yusheng will also appear in the banquet. He had to get Yusheng under his banner if he wanted to gain prestige and favor in one sweep from all directions.

He was more than ready to have alone time with Yusheng even had made arrangements. Thinking of his plan and eyeing the entrance once in a while his mood lightened and sipped on his wine.

Qinwang was on his way to banquet hall feeling all unhappy thinking how is trasure will be peeked and coveted by many. He was now thinking to have the fastest way to have betrothal with her, claiming her as his to the entire world. So he can protect his treasure and kill those rightfully who coveted her.

Entering inside everyone gave bow including sour third prince and his lackeys. After giving his salutation he sat right below emperor showing his position.

Soon the time to flow the lanterns neared and that was also the time when Yusheng appeared. Stunning the entire court with her beauty. Even though jeolous and envious the unwed ladies accepted her to be the most beautiful in the entire four countries.

With the aura of immortal or a goddess she walked gracefully towards her seat right beside the emperor. After exchanging of pleasantries food and wines were place infront of her.

Thus that year she just watched from the garden the lanterns floating in the sky or hear buzzing of other festivals from zhu mama and other servants mouth.

Now thinking she was just a fool, fooled thoroughly. Not knowing the man she gave her heart into was enjoying each festivities with that villainess named Zhou Xuan. She was waken from her daze by the third prince who loudly was now giving his toast to emperor.

Appearing very humble and obedient third prince toasts "Fuhuang this prince thanks you for your grace, prays for long life with peace. This prince offers imperial mother same wishes."

Seeing his toast was received he looks toward Yusheng and with gentle voice with traces of adore in his eyes he toasts "Esteem lord this prince would also wish you joy and peace for eternity."

Yusheng calmly accept his toast while Pei Jin tight grip seemed to have cracked his wine cup. Tao with sharp eye changes his cup.

The time arrived everyone following behind the royal couple and Yusheng went to the outer pavilion where servants were ready with lanterns.

First both the royal couples and Yusheng lighted and raised the lantern to flow soon to be followed by others. Hundreds of lanterns now floating in the sky it was a beautiful scene. Nobody noticed qinwang had not lighten the latern.

Now everyone moved towards the lake pavilion for the main and last banquet. Everyone has just sat when a daring servant poured wine in Yusheng's sleeves. The place stilled time silent remembering this was another moody second demon who reaps lives like crops.

But suprising them Yusheng forgives the trembling maid below and excuses herself with xiaoqing to clean herself. She knew that it was act of a certain clown, but thinking of the fun she will have later decided to give onto the act.
