Extracting poison

They were now inside the cave behind the waterfall, created for the sole purpose for healing Pei Jin. While training she had accidentally discovered the chill that was like of thousand years cold ice.

To ensure and sate her curiosity she had made a big hole and indeed inside the stone was freezed ice cave. The small cracks in stones had made the water droplets to accumulate little by little resulting the creation of thousand years ice cave.

Then slowly day by day she had made that hole into a cave. Though not too big it was not too small.

Yusheng had her Qi wrapped around herself to prevent the chill, while she had passed the blood red jade pendant to pei jin to keep him warm.

Then on the carved bed from the ice she had pei jin lie on it. From her ring she took out the bucket where she filled more of the ice, dugged from a corner freshly.

To extract the poison from the knee you would have to be covered with this ice. Then I will place needle to start the process, it will be painful be prepared.

Soon with the trousers above his knees he was lying on the ice bed, slowly she placed the ice on his knee and below. He could feel both the heat from the blood pendant but also the bone chilling cold from the ice.

Then turning her mental power on she placed the needles on his legs, soon she started to pass the Qi throught the needle, she could see that the cold from the ice had managed to even freeze the poison into a solid form.

If not for her Qi everything inside including blood would have freezed. Slowly she manifested her Qi into a thin sharp shape like of a dagger then started to move towards the poison.

Slowly and gently she scraped the poison, bit by bit. The poison dropped like dust particles inside, she then wrapped those poison dust inside her Qi and pulled it out.

As soon as pulled out she put them inside a vial. Once couldn't see if not staring for a long time. As the scraped poison was very few. She repeted the process for half hour then stopped for the day.

After pulling out the needles she called Tao inside and together they helped Pei jin to hot bath along with his clothes. While inside the bath she pushed large amount of Qi from his back to the legs.

She circulated the Qi violently inside the bones and the area around pulling the seeped poison on the surface. After the same amount that she scraped earlier had been pulled on the surface of bone and nerves, she stopped circulating the Qi.

Finally with tired and sweat filled body and pale lips, she ordered Tao to take care rest of the things. Pei jin had lost his consciousnesses when Yusheng started to violently circulate the Qi inside him.

Though he was not able to see, but Tao had clearly seen the tired and pale face of Yusheng.

Learning how difficult this process was for not only his master but also for Yusheng.

He felt relief, thankful and grateful that Yusheng was a friend and future matriarch who possessed such great talent and determination.

After Pei Jin came back to his senses he found himself tucked inside warm blanket in his room. He called for Tao.

Master.. you are awake..

hmm.. where's Yu'er?...( yes they have now changed from I to jin and yu'er though, Yusheng wanted to scratch and cut his lips wide till it reached his ears when she was first called Yu'er but with Pei jins shameless persistence numbed her soon and even started to respond)

Lord is resting in her boudoir..

Was she tired? asks Pei jin solemnly.

Tao honestly replies..indeed this treatment seems to have taken a toll on her.. though she was not ill or had any backlash.. she was more tired and pale faced in comparison to before.

Tao could feel viscious air in the room coming from his master. He really wanted to run far far away or dig a hole to hide right now.

After some moments pei jin calmed his emotions, though he still felt heart ache and self blame but he hated those people who had injured him the most, though being injured made him meet Yusheng still his injury had made Yusheng uncomfortable.Thus later he was thrice vicious when taking his revenge.

Bring the crutch...benwang wants to see her, also have dishes ready for dinner. Receiving his order Tao fled from the room, while pei jin went towards Yusheng's boudoir.

It was a first for Pei jin to have entered in any women's or girls room. Openeing the door he saw that small figure curled up like a ball in the inner side of the bed. Her sleeping posture showed her insecurity and loneliness.

He sat at stool beside the bed and watched her, her eyebrows were furrowed , eyelashes trembling slightly, thin sweat on tip of her nose as if having a bad dream. She looked beautiful but more beautiful if not for the furrowed brows and trembling eyelashes thought pei jin.

Gently patting her leg... Yu'er... he calls, after the third call Yusheng slowly opens his eyes. She was indeed recalling her past life in her dream. After coming out of the daze she is suprised to see Pei Jin.

Heard you were tired.. coming to check on you also it's time to eat...replies smoothly pei jin. (well he couldn't have said I was dying to see you. )

Pei jin nodes his head feeling delighted inside as he was not driven out from the room.

Thus the day ended with good result and a happy Pei Jin.
