It has been a month and life was back in the streets of huajin with people back to their business. Small festivities were also being held which they had prolonged due to emperor's passing away.
The impression they held for Shiyou in the past had changed to a wise and benevolent emperor and that he had been a victim of malicious rumour in the past with new tragedies.
The court was also balanced but everyone knew the scale was weighty in Shiyou's favor. The consuls belonging to Xiuzhi's faction had gone quiet and looked dried up making the opposing faction pleased and happy.
Though everyone and everything was finally in his grasp the man himself was far from being happy and satisfied. Learning of his impotence was a great blow to his pride and to add these days he could barely channel his Qi.
Due to all the matters he didn't have time to practice martial art but yesterday having some free time he had decided to do so but strangely he couldn't channel his Qi at all. Soon after he had to attend national matters hence he didn't have time to put much thought.
This morning he had risen early at dawn to practice again but similar to day before he was unable to channel his Qi. He was frustrated but because of the morning court was forced to stop trying further. Even while at the court he tried to use his Qi but failed again.
His heart was unsettled thus after finishing the court he calls for the same physician who had diagonised of his impotence. He had kept the man alive for it would be suspicious to others with his sudden death after disclosing such big matter.
The physician was trembling from being called upon he felt as if walking towards deaths door. Inside the grand study he finds to see the emperor with a very dark face making his heart jump to his throat, before he could even salute he was ordered by Shiyou.
"Forget it...hurry and come check Zhen...Zhen has been unable to channel ones Qi from yesterday...find out what and why is this happening.."orders Shiyou in hurries manner.
The physician with quick steps reaches to take his pulse as seconds went by his face became nervous and sweaty he curses his luck to be the one who found all worst matters. Trembling and with shaky voice he answers "emperor..that..this...this one doesn't know how but your body doesn't have any signs of Qi...it's as if never being present in the first place...your vitality is in perfect condition just the Qi has disappeared.."
Shiyou felt dark all around his eyes for some moment after the news. Then rage takes over his mind and body he grabs the collar of the man and asks eye to eye "how is this possible...Zhen had long broken through fire realm...not to mention was half way through to master the secret art...how can such long years accumulated and cultivated Qi disappear...are you taking Zhen as a fool..or is this some kind of unfunny joke that seems funny for you"
The man was about to cry from seeing the raging and snarling emperor who seemed demonic at this moment. Still to keep his life he gathers courage to reply "emperor...this one has no such intention...it also puzzles this one but the truth is at present your body shows no sign of Qi or even its residual...which is like never having been there before...it's..it's the first time..this one has faced with something like this..Not this one has ever heard of this kind of incidences.."
Shiyou hurls the man aside, though he did not have Qi but years of training made his physically stronger thus the man lands harshly on the ground. He sits in lotus position and focuses to channel his Qi indeed beside emptiness he couldn't even find a thread of Qi.
The physician knew what he was trying to do thus sits in silence. His heart beats violently when those dark and stormy eyes open to meet his. It felt as if those eyes could engulf his entire being the next second.
Shiyou at this moment was like a wounded and cornered beast baring it's teeth to kill anyone that approached him. Determined to take everyone to Yama even at the cost of his life. This was the very moment a tyrant was born.
