Chapter 187 : I'm a fun person.

" Can you give me an explanation "? Kancor looked Eros up and down blankly as he walked past him, " I'm no medical practioner but I think she's really tired ". Eros clenched his fist tightly as Kancor suddenly smiled, " You almost give me the impression that you're trying to threaten me emperor ".

He suddenly turned to Caitlin and smiled, " Let's go ". Caitlin nodded and ran forward, " Oh. Okay ". She frowned slightly as she caught up with him [ Why did I answer him? ] " Are you sure it's a good idea to just leave like this "?

Kancor suddenly patted her head, " Awwwn. Are you worried about me "? Caitlin shook him off, her cheeks bright red again as she shook his hand off " Who would be worried about you "?

He put his palm to his chest and laughed, " You sure "? Caitlin pushed past him, even redder " Stop talking ". His smile suddenly dropped as he looked at Eros, " Green is not a very good color on you either ".

Caitlin groaned in frustration as she realized Kancor wasn't behind her and yelled, " Kancor "! He turned in her direction, all smiles again " Coming ". He winked at Archie cheerfully, " I'll see you tomorrow lil prince ". Archie nodded, waving back " Good night Uncle Konnie ".

Archie sighed as he rested his head on Axis shoulder and looked at the frozen lake, " She'll be okay, right "? Bonsi nodded with a tired smile, " Of course she will. Plus, you already have a play date with her ".

He laughed as he looked at her, " Uncle Konnie is a lot cooler than I thought. We should visit Sepafi for once ". Bonsi tilted her head with a smile, " Why do you want to visit Sepafi all of a sudden "?

Archie smiled at her brightly, " Cos it's where mother comes from. Plus, I hear they have the best architectural wonders on the continent " [ All recommended by Nichole ] Bonsi couldn't help but feel proud of her homeland, " Thank you. The fairies and elves have a way of making the plants play along so it allows us to do a lot of things with it ".

" Plus, we're a fun people by heart so as long as you can imagine it, it becomes reality ". Archie looked at her doubtfully, " But you're no fun. Fun people are people like Sister Qidu or Uncle Lu, even Uncle Konnie ".

Bonsi frowned slightly, " You take that back young man, I'm a lot more fun than you give me credit for ". He nodded complacently and rolled his eyes, " Anything you say mother ".

Bonsi suddenly gasped, " Was that sarcastic? It sounded sarcastic ". She pulled at the sleeve of Axis' shirt as if just remembering he'd been here the whole time and he smirked [ So now you remember I exist ]

She frowned even more, " Are you taking Archie's side "? She was trying to march past them but Axis suddenly pulled her back and sighed, " Of course not. You have the typical nature of a Sepafinian " [ And you have the temper to match it ]

She had this slightly annoyed expression and he quickly added, " I mean that as a compliment ". He pulled her closer and put his arm over her shoulder, the two walking again " Tell you what. We can stop over at Sepafi on our way back and prove Archie wrong ".

The mother and son pair suddenly looked up at him, filled with excitement as they spoke in unison " Really "? He nodded solemnly [ Why did I say that? ] " Really ". When he saw Bonsi's smile he couldn't help but give in [ Maybe I should have said so sooner ]

Eros felt confused as Kancor walked away from him [ What does the color green have to do with anything anyways? ] He was finding the man more and more irritating, especially since he seemed to have so much in common with Nectar.

He knew for certain that the two had never met, Nectar had never even been to Sepafi and Kancor was usually too sick to even leave his chambers. Spending so much time in bed, where he got his odd dance skills baffled him.

What was even stranger was how Nectar seemed so in tune with him. Suddenly, he felt a familiar chuckle in his head " I've never seen you think so hard. It's not like they were lovers in their past lives or something ".

Eros felt even more confused, [ What's that? ] Suki brushed past his hand, standing in his front now " Your majesty "? He snapped out of it and nodded, " Yes. Is something the matter "?

He heard a familiar deep voice coming from behind him and Suki smiled brightly, " My father's back ". He sighed as he turned to the direction of the voice, " I can tell ". The man in front of him had bluish purple hair and darting blue eyes, " Eros ".

Eros smiled through clenched teeth [ It's Emperor Eros to you ] " Nice to see you're well Forjin ". The man scanned Eros' face for a few seconds then smiled, " We have enough time to catch up, let's cut to the chase ".

A man with Russet eyes and dirty blonde hair stepped forward and held out his hand to Eros, " Your majesty ". Eros shook the hand and smiled, " Grand Chancellor ".
