The role was his to claim, and he didn't see the need for assistance from Hea-Jung. He glanced at the script in his hands, feeling confident about his performance.

Back at home, he texted Jung-hwa to check if she had reached safely. Her bus had left early in the morning, and she should have been home by now. She replied promptly, confirming her arrival and mentioning she was about to take an afternoon nap.
