His Life

Shufen saw Cheng's life when the woman broke up with her and she was now looking at the new scene in front of her. It was Cheng blankly staring at the lifeless body of the woman. The woman was smiling slightly like she was happy to let go but there was tears in her eyes. The woman may be happy but she was also sad. Just thinking about his man marrying another girl was making her jealous but she can't do anything. She was just hoping that the woman his marrying will be kind.

"NO!"

Cheng screamed at the top oh his lungs, the woman's family looked away as they also hid the fact that their daughter curse. They are also grieving and yet they can still go on with their life without her although it felt like something was missing. They could feel his pain, his agony but they can't do anything about it because their daughter had wished not to tell him the reason but the father cannot do it.

He sighed and went to Cheng's side. He took the sit beside the crying man and pat his back.

"My daughter, Xiao Feng's last wish was you to marry and have a family. She wanted you to be free. She begged me not to tell you anything about the curse but I'm not that cruel. Forgive me for telling you this late"

Xiao Feng's Father patted Cheng's back for the last time before walking away. He may be cold but he know how to be kind and pity someone who really needs it. The man stared at Cheng before turning again. He knew that his daughter's last wish would only bring more pain to him but that was the words his daughter wanted to tell him. He won't sugarcoat anything.

Cheng heard all his words but his mind was not really working. He felt all the stares and heard all the whispers but he didn't mind. He was lost in his own world. That was full of their memories together, when they were still together. Cheng laughed a little, he had noticed her odd behavior but didn't ask because he trust her. However she didn't tell anything about being cursed. She continued her life with him before breaking up.

'Just why?'

The heaven already made me feel nothing, they gave me nothing but a body to live. There was no emotion until she arrived. But the heaven was stingy, they made him feel those emotions and still took it without a warning. He cannot feel anything now but the pain. Heh.

Was it better if he didn't met her and together with those emotions? or was it better that all he could do was feel the pain that was left in their love? Was he regretting meeting her? Of course not, that was the best part of his life. The only thing that he regret was not asking about it. About why was she always laying in her bed, about why was she always pale when she clearly said she was healthy.

How he wished that he knew the curse so he could transfer it to him. And that was the reason why she didn't tell him that, because she knew he will find a way to extract the curse.

Shufen was staring at the scene in front of her without blinking, she could feel her cheeks getting wet but she doesn't care, she wanted to know how will he cop up to this but the scene disappeared with Cheng staring blankly at the sky.

"Thank you"

That was the last words she heard before it completely disappeared. Ning Shufen glanced at all the images around her and it was now disappearing along with the others. Shufen saw a man's face that was so familiar to her but it faded as she walked near it. She was clearly disappointed and sighed.

"Is his life sad?" A man's voice was played inside her head. She was surprised but she also calmed down immediately like she was used to his voice. Shufen nodded and hummed. Is his life sad? She didn't want to talk about his life.

"I gave a hundred of memories but you chose that man, why?"

His voice was cold. It sounded like Cheng but also doesn't. It was more deep and husky.

"Do I have to state my reason?" Shufen wanted to test his temper but all she heard was a cold laugh. The temperature suddenly goes down and the place now looked gloomy.

"Hmm."

That was all and the scary aura that surrounds the place also disappeared. Like nothing happened the place now looked comfortable. A paper fell to her side as the place slowly disappeared. It slowly faded together with her consciousness.

"Sleep for the mean time. It must be hard"

The man appeared and sighed. It was Cheng, he put his past there intentionally for her to see. He thought that she will not notice it but she did. Will she realized that it was him all along?
