Chapter 92: Nightmare

From Qi Yan's POV:

I'm not sure how I returned home. I just kept on driving home with many thoughts in my head. As soon as I reached home I turned on the light whilst entering the living room. There was some food left in container boxes. On top of the boxes, there was a note that said You must eat something. Remember to warm it up before you eat. Get some sleep. He Lan must have left it here. She's such a good sport sometimes. 

I walked upstairs and turned on the shower. It has been so long since I had a proper shower. I shaved for the first time in a long while and walked down. Taking the container place it into the microwave and set a timer for 3 minutes. 

The food was soon made hot. I ate it quickly and decided to go and have a good night's sleep. I haven't had one in a long time.

I walked upstairs opened my door and say down on my bed whilst charging my phone and placing some music on. I opened my bedside drawer and took out one of the bottles in the sea of bottles. I took one in the hope I could fall asleep. Not long later I fell asleep but I wasn't having the best of dreams.

I was having the same nightmare over and over again. In the nightmare, I was standing just beside the cliff and I watched as Hui Qing fell over again and again. The nightmare seemed to be repeating and repeating. It was the exact memory from half a year ago. Every time I fall asleep I have this nightmare, yet I can't wake up nor can I do anything. Why? Why can't I change anything? 

I don't know how many times I was going through the same nightmare but by the time I woke up, it was already 5 am. I stood up and noticed that my whole pillow was wet. I must've cried during my nightmares. Every single time... hahaha. I cannot fall asleep peacefully anymore.

From Hui Qing's POV:

As soon as he left my whole body relaxed. During the whole time he was there I was too tense and rigid since he is a stranger to me. The story he told me about our love felt like a fairytale to me. I couldn't think of anything to say back to him. His story made me feel as if I was listening to someone else's story. After all, I loved the colour red. This whole business is quite weird and unbelievable. 

I closed my eyes and felt the need to sleep come across me. Soon I fell asleep and I had a really strange dream. In this dream, there were 3 people. Luo Wen Ning, Feng Xiu Ying and Qi Yan. Luo Wen Ning seemed to be 'my' boyfriend yet I caught him cheating on me with Feng Xiu Ying. Out of hate Lou Wen Ning killed me. Qi Yan seems to be my ex-husband. 

There were lots of gaps in this dream. I couldn't understand the meaning of it. How could I like someone apart from Ze Lin? This Luo Wen Ning looked nothing like him apart from the fact that they had the same smile. I suppose this was the reason I chose him. Both of them are similar to Ze Lin. Luo Wen Ning had his smiles and Qi Yan had his eyes. If both of them combine their facial features it would be like Ze Lin. 

Ah Lin, I miss you so much. How could you leave me in this world without you? Where exactly are you? Are you really dead?

These thoughts circulated through my dreams as my willow grew wetter and wetter.
