Chapter 76: I'm pregnant:

"Ok, what's the bad news?" Dad asked. I signed and turned to look at my parents, smiled, and whispered "I'm pregnant...". Ru Yu almost spat out the water in his mouth. "Hubby, I think I heard wrong. Hui Yun what did you say?" mum asked as she turned to look at me with a scary gaze. I gulped and voiced out again "I said, I'M PREGNANT,". Everyone looked at me and even my grandparents were really shocked. I suppose they didn't expect that I would voice this out like this. And I don't suppose I look like those sort of girl who gets pregnant without getting married.

"Whose kid is it?" shouted Mama. Oh dear she's the scariest when she's mad. "Mama, calm down," I whispered "This child, I'm keeping it,". Mum lifted up my loose jumper and noticed that my stomach was already showing, which meant I was past 3 months. I can't abort it. "Whose child is it then?" Dad asked me again. However, I didn't say anything. I really do want to know if Ru Yu would stand out and announce that he was the father.

'Thud' With this sound, I turned to look at Ru Yu and noticed that he was kneeling down on both knees. "Mr Zhao. What is this for? Please get up," uttered Father as he proceeded to walk towards him. "The child is mine. I am willing to take responsibility," admitted Zhao Ru Yu.

"Mr. Zhao, you..." shouted Dad. In anger as he clutched his chest. His health has been in decline over these years. Grandpa and Grandma haven't said anything yet but seeing this they quickly asked how Father was. I asked Butler Xu to call the family doctor to check on Dad.

"Zhao Ru Yu, you bastard. How dare you do that to my sister?" asked Gege as he ran forwards and grabbed Ru Yu's clothes and lifted him off the ground. "Huai Zhan, stop it. Hui Yun starts explaining. How did this happen," ordered Mum as she began to deal with everything. She really has the aura of the matriarchy head in our family.

Unwillingly, gege let go of Zhao Ru Yu. Qi Yan gestured for him to sit back on the coach. Since everyone had calmed down I started talking about everything. From the moment I stepped inside the bar to when we went to the hospital to get a DNA test.

Father's face grew darker as he heard everything. Well, I left some details out but that's fine. He doesn't need to know that much. "And that's how I know it's his kid," I explained. "Zhao Ru Yu. I'm really sorry but I don't think you can stay here tonight. Please come back tomorrow," ordered Mum as Zhao Ru Yu nodded. I think he understood that we were going to have a family meeting later. One that doesn't include him.

I watched as Aunty glared at Lin Xue and Lin Hua. I think they both understood that they had to go outside for a while. Gege also clocked when Mum looked at him. Su Mu was dragged out along with Qi Yan. They closed the door and left in the room was only me, Mum, and Dad.

"Fu Hui Yun, what do you plan on doing with your life? You are literally a child yet now you're going to have a child," shouted Father. "I'm not a child. I know what I'm doing. I've figured out what I'm going to do. I've planned out everything with Ru Yu," I replied meekly. "Oh pray, tell me what your plan is," exclaimed Mum.

"This child. I'm giving birth to it. I've planned it with Ru Yu. After I give birth to this child, I'm going to move house and get an apartment. Ru Yu has also told me that he will move next door to me as well. Just in case. This way we both can look after the child. We even said that we were going to look after the child together. I'll have the child for one week and he will have he/she for the next week. I'm sure we will figure it out together," I answered.

They still look really furious, however, at this moment a knock on the door came. "Come in," father shouted. Aunty came straight inside and sat down next to me. She clutched my hand and looked at Mum and Dad muttering for everyone to calm down. "Gege, doctor Sun is here. He's in the other guest room " explained Aunty as father nodded. "I'll go over there in a second," answered Father as Aunty replied.

Before she left she turned towards us and uttered "Hui Yun, isn't young anymore. She should have the choice to choose what she wants to do in her life. Since what has happened has happened then all we can do is support her. She really needs as much support as she can get,". My eyes looked really watery. Thank you, Aunty. Thank you so much. Mum signed and it seemed to me that aunties words seemed to be processed in her brain.

"What your aunty said is true. We seemed to have forgotten that you ain't a child anymore. Hui Yun come here. I really hope you won't regret it. You must remember this is your choice, don't regret it in the future," advised Mum as she hugged me. Father also came and hugged me.

Meanwhile right outside the living room underneath a window that led to the garden. There were 5 people listening to the conversation held in the living room "Really that's it? Uhhh boring" whispered Lin Hua as Lin Xue smiled and laughed at her sister. "Looks like it's time for us to go back in," whispered Fu Ming Yue as everyone walked back inside quietly.

The door of the living room opened and the three people stopped hugging themselves. "Hui Yun, I'm going to have a little niece or nephew soon," exclaimed Lin Xue as she walked straight over to Hui Yun. "Our Fu family is going to have a new member," Shouted Su Mu.

Everyone smiled yet only Qi Yan looked quite solemn.
