Chapter 61: I'll take you home

After we were finally finished, I noticed the message that Wei Wei had sent me. Qi Yan watched my expression and he asked me what had happened. I explained to him quickly and before I could say anything he announced, "I'll send you back,". I quickly shook my head. It was almost midnight. Me and Qi Yan don't live on the same side of the town. He lives on the west, my school dorm is in the east. It's best not to disturb him.

"I can just take the taxi home," I stated as Qi Yan shook his head "It's not safe around here these days, I'll take you back to your dorm. This way we can spend more time together. Unless you don't want to spend time with me?" rambled Qi Yan as I looked at him annoyedly. He isn't giving me any space to say no, now is he? Hence, I could only nod and follow him.

"I really can't do anything about you..." I exclaimed as I grabbed my bag and walked out of the office with Qi Yan.

As I waited for Qi Yan to lock up we stepped into the elevator, however, he didn't go straight to the car park but he pressed to go to the 6 and 7 floors. We stepped out of the 6th floor and the reception was all black however inside we could see lights with workers working and eating at the same time. Qi Yan walked inside and everyone turned their head to see who it was. As soon as they realised it was Qi Yan everyone stood up respectfully. "It's getting late, I'm sure your family is worried for you. You guys should head home quickly," he ordered and walked out. I could see his colleagues were quite speechless. Was he always like this to his workers?

I smiled at the rest of them and walked out quickly trying to catch up with Qi Yan. Once again we took the elevator to the next level down and once again he said the same thing towards them. I looked at Qi Yan curiously, was this the way he talked to the workers? When he said these words I noticed that he gave off a cold, workaholic CEO aura. I mean many people in our circle did hear rumours about him being a workaholic.

Meanwhile, the workers who were just told to go home by their workaholic boss were freaking out. Even Secretary Ye. He had never seen their boss leave the office before midnight and right now it was 11.30. With a difference of 30 minutes, it was quite a marvellous breakthrough. Of course, this must be because of Hui Qing. Without her, they wouldn't be able to return home so early. Hence in their heart, many people had good feelings towards Hui Qing and many were hoping for her and Qi Yan to hurry up and get married so they could finally leave the office on time for once.

I followed Qi Yan to his car. I noticed it was another car today. This was a Nissan red car. Why red though? I was quite tired so we didn't have many conversations as Qi Yan drove me back towards the office. I think I dozed off after a while as the next time my eyes opened it was when Qi Yan was trying to put his coat on me. I believe we've arrived.

I hopped out of the car and waved goodbye to Qi Yan who was standing by his car door. Then, I began to slowly walk away. However, I felt someone tugging on my coat, I turned my head backwards and noticed it was Qi Yan. "What's wrong?" I mumbled. Qi Yan smirked and replied, "I think you're forgetting something,". Huh? What did he mean? Did he want a hug?

So, I hugged him however he shook his head and said this wasn't what he meant. Did he want a kiss or something? My face blushed a beetroot colour but I made Qi Yan let go of his hand and I walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek. It was quite difficult actually since Qi Yan was taller than me. So I had to stand on my tiptoes just to reach up to his cheek.

Qi Yan signed and did not look pleased. What? I gave him a hug and a kiss. So what's with the expression? Qi Yan gestured towards his lips and then it finally clocked to me. He wanted me to kiss him there... If my face was already blushing before I kissed him then I could tell you that right this second I must have had a tomato shade on my face.

I pulled his jacket lower a bit and his head dropped so that I could feel his nose on mine and then I kissed him on the lips. I mean this wasn't our first kiss but this surely was one passionate kiss. I think Qi Yan was a bit clumsily at first but I'm sure he could improve. After all, I am his first girlfriend. This was quite rare for men in this generation.
