Chapter 29: Feng Xiu Ying back?

OMG, how could she be so shameless? She took my man and dares to walk into my textile exam and call my work a copy of hers?

(Ok so let's rewind to 3 days before all of this)

Thursday 7th May 2022:

It's been almost a month since I've been reborn and nothing out of the ordinary has happened well apart from Hui Yun's matter. Lying on my study table I breathe a sigh of relief these whole 3 weeks have been a whole terror with non-stop stitching embroidering and designing. But finally, it's done. It's been sent to Professor Chen and knows the most we can hope for is to get a good grade. In three days we are meant to show our work to the rest of the class. In two more days Qi Yan's gonna be back so that's something to hope for. Closing my eyes I peacefully listen to my music on QQ music. The song wish by Wang Hao Er was playing sweetly inside my AirPods. My eyelids dropped and I slowly zoned out. " Fu Hui Qing doesn't sleep yet. Wake up," Cheng Li screamed rushing inside the dorm. What? I haven't even slept yet. Lifting my head I glared at her and asked "Can you not wait until I get some sleep? I haven't had any sleep in the past three weeks. Look at these eye bags,". One after the other they all busted in. Looking around I watched their solemn face and asked in concern "What happened? Who died?" their face lit up and they chorused "Oi Stop saying such unlucky words. Nobody died,". "Then spit it out," I demanded. Wei Wei looked around sheepishly and nudged the other two. They nudged each other back. Was there gonna be seriously a fight here? I cleared my throat and they stopped and signed. They all walk toward me and took turns hugging me.

I looked at them confused. Wei Wei signed and patted my back she whispered "Wen Xiu Ying is back," and my whole face dropped. Why is this happening? Didn't I already change the future? Hui Yun's fate is changed. She is now pregnant. But why is Wen Xiu Ying here? The last time I heard any news about them was when reporters saw her and Luo Wen Ning in France getting married two months ago. She should have stayed there why is she back? Is everything gonna happen again? It shouldn't be right. In her eyes, she already won. "Why is she here?" I croaked looking at Wei Wei with my teary eyes. Cheng Li looked at Wei Wei and their eyes seem to be discussing who would tell me the news. In the end, Cheng Li lost. "Um this is only what I've heard but Xiu Ying and that bastard got married two months ago. Just a week after that incident. However, a month ago Luo Wen Ning and his father lost their lives in a car accident... So Feng Xiu Ying decided to come back to Tsing Hua University," Cheng Li explained. Fang Feng had been watching my face the whole time I was told this news and interrupted saying " I don't know why she's back but she doesn't belong here. If it wasn't for you she wouldn't have gotten into Tsing Hua," my face fell and once again I'm reminded of my stupid self. Back then if it wasn't for me helping her in the Gaokao*(1) she would have never gotten distinguished and had the opportunity to enter Tsing Hua. It wasn't a surprise when Xiu Ying took the same major as me. I always used to help her but now I'm not sure what to do. "Is she back already?" I asked quietly ad they nodded in reply "She's due to start again tomorrow," Cheng Li replied.

We spent the next few minutes in silence. Before Fang Feng commented saying "Come let us not mope in the dorm. Let's go eat outside at hotpot as usual? I'll treat," I nodded quietly and went inside the bathroom to tidy myself. Leaning against the door I crouched silently and crew my heart out. Ah Ning we were once so in love. I've always had a query why did you do it? I don't believe that there was not even tiny love between us. Luo Wen Ning, I have forgiven you. May your soul rest in peace. A few minutes later I washed my face and tidy myself.

Meanwhile whilst Hui Qing was in the toilet the other three were ears dropping by the door and whispered between each other. "Aiyo Hui Qing is crying," Cheng Li whispered as they all nodded. "I don't care what appointment you've today. Just cancel it. Tonight we are gonna spend the time with Hui Qing," ordered Wei Wei as the other two nodded in reply.

On the other side of the door, Hui Qing was also listening to their conversation. Her heart warmed when she heard them...
