Chapter 26: The new shop

It's been a few weeks since my birthday and I'm still scouting out candidates to be my brother-in-law. But seriously is there literally no man left in this world? But that isn't the only concern right now. I've finally found a shop I can hold my business there. Like last time father brought me to the same shop. I know that shop was originally his so I excepted it happily. Now the problem is to find some workers to decorate this place. After all Jade doesn't work by herself. Let the shop's name be called something else instead of Angel Rose. I want to change the future so I can't have it being called the same as last time right?

What would be a good name? Eh, how about Golden butterfly? Would that be a good name? A butterfly symbolizes rebirth and I did rebirth for the ashes. A new golden era perhaps. I ask for everyone's opinion before setting the stage. Yesterday I opened Wechat to post a notice on the Fu family group chat and on the Xue family group chat, which consists of my mother's family. I posted a notice asking for everyone's opinion on whether or not I should name my shop Golden Butterfly.

Everyone was encouraging me and I received a lot of praise from my aunties on both my mother's side and father's side. Most of them were berating their child saying how I was already starting a business without the help of my parents at such a young age. Haha. Without them mentioning I forgot I did ask my parents to not innerve and help me run my business. Yet they were still kind enough to find a shop for me just like last time. What was I thinking last time? How could I ever believe that my parents never loved me? I was so stupid... Aiyo luckily Buddha*(1) gave me another chance to love and cherish those who care for my well-being. Thank you, Buddha.

I called some of my old school friends and luckily through their connections, I found a good reliable architecture company to design my shop. Today me and Hui Yun were on my way to see them. The company was owned by Zhao Yan, Zhao Ru Yu's father. Zhao's family is also part of the higher class. Zhao Ru Yu was Zhao Lin and Kao Ling's adopted son. Zhao families were known for having a good reputation as architects. Works made by the Zhao family's company were known worldwide and many people wanted them to design things for them. This is why I was pretty curious about why Zhao's family would offer themselves to design my shop. So I asked Hui Yun to accompany me. We stepped out of our car and I glazed up at the top building with the sign Zhao company on it.

Today I was wearing a peachy pink blazer, a white blouse and a peachy pink pleated skirt. I was holding a white handbag full of all of the designs I drew on how I wanted the shop o look like. I had my hair down and I was wearing the watch Qi Yan gave me. Hui Yun was wearing a white dress that had roses embodied at the top of the dress. She also had a black and white belt adorned with the dress. Her head had been curled at the bottom and a single plait with a ribbon tying it together. She was wearing a silver shoulder bag.
