Chapter 20: Finally there is some progress.

"He's calling me!!!" shouted Xiao Fang as we were looking for something decent that Fang Feng could wear. "Then pick up," Wei Wei stated as I rolled my eyes and Cheng Li slapped her head. "Put it on speaker," ordered Cheng Li. Xiao Fang's only reply was to answer the phone and put it on speaker. A few seconds after she pick up the phone a deep voice filled the room it said: " Hello, Is this Fang Feng classmate?". "Yes this is. Who am I speaking to?" Xiao Fang asked back even after she had saved Yong Zhen's number as 3 leaping hearts. "This is Yong Zhen, Hui Qing's classmate. Um, she told me you would bring her designs down to me?" he replied. "Oh right do you want me to bring it out now?" assured Xiao Fang. "Can you?" responded Yong Zhen. "Yeah sure give me a minute I grab and bring it to you," replied Xiao Fang after a minute of silence Xiao Fang was reaching out to end the call when Yong Zhen shouted, "Would you like to grab coffee with me?" Xiao Fang gasped as Yong Zhen once again spoke " It's just to thank you. Nothing else," he claimed as we all shared a knowing glace "Sure," answered Xiao Fang "then I'll see you later..." she ended the call and we all screamed so loud that someone next door to us asked if we were ok. They had knocked on our door in concern as we assured them nothing happened before they left.

"Come on we need to choose an outfit," I announced whilst searching through her wardrobe. "How about this?" Cheng Li asked as we shouted "Perfect!". "Come on go and get dressed," hurried Wei Wei as we push her into the bathroom with the clothes in her hand. It took her a total of 5 minutes to get dressed. But when she came out she looked stunning. She was wearing a light multi-coloured T-shirt and on top of that was a short-sleeved black and white jumper. She had a pleated lavender coloured skirt. She was wearing butterfly earrings and carrying a tote bag filled with my designs. It gave off a nice look. We sent her out of our room and watched her go downstairs. We ran straight to the window which overlooked everything. And we saw how happy they converted with each other. "It would be a very bad catastrophe if we don't follow them right?" asked Wei Wei as we shared a knowing look and chorused "Of course!". The others ran out and I grabbed the keys and slipped normal trainers on and went straight out running towards the others.

"Hurry up!" shouted Wei Wei as we hid behind a tree. "What's happened so far?" I asked as I joined up with them again. "Nothing, we didn't wanna go too close so that they will spot us so we couldn't catch what they said," replied Cheng Li as she gestured for me to crouch down. The pair in front of us was moving again so we quietly caught up to them frequently going into a shop in case they caught wind of what we were doing. Gosh, one time when we went into one of the shops they went back to that shop and followed us in. It was a near counter because Wei Wei sneezed near the plants. It was a flower shop. Yong Zhen had brought a flower for Xiao Fang. It was so sweet, we were watching them acting lovely dovely. "Seeing all of this I think it's time for us to go?" I suggested to the other two as Cheng Li sighed but agreed as we had to let them have some space.

We made our way back to the dorm and took out some work to do. Fang Feng came back after 2 whole hours holding a whole bouquet of pink roses. "What took you so long?" I asked whilst closing my book. Wei Wei stopped playing her video game and spun her chair over to face Xiao Fang as she gracefully sat down and broke the silence "We're dating now...". "Hurray, finally," I shouted as we all jumped up and down.

"Shall we go out and eat? To celebrate both Hui Qing and Fang Feng's success in their relationship," asked Cheng Li. "Sure I'll pay," Xiao Fang announced. "I'll treat you guys to desserts," I agreed. "Now all that's left is Wei Wei still being a lonely dog," I whispered as she glared at me. "It's only 5 I'll book the table for 7?" asked Cheng Li as we nodded.

What a brilliant day. But what was more worrying was that Hui Yun had wanted to call an abrupt family meeting tomorrow. I wonder what she wanted to say...
