Chapter 15: The date (2):

" Do we not need to pay for the entrance ticket?" I asked as Qi Yan shook his head saying "I've dealt with it,". "Aiya, I don't like third-wheeling," replied Cheng Li "Now you know what it feels like when we're on the campus having lunch with you and your boyfriend, Shen Ye," retorted Wei Wei. "Aiyo Qing Qing you guys take your time will walk in front of you guys," snickered Fang Feng whilst I blushed. Wei Wei grabbed the other two's hands and rushed in to see what was inside. I grabbed a leaflet and asked, "Should we choose what to look at first or go in order ?". "I don't mind," replied Qi Yan "So the first stop is the penguins on the right. The others went to the left," I announced grabbing Qi Yan's hand and walking over to the right. Eh, what am I doing holding his hand like this? but his hand feels warm. "Woah, look Qi Yan the penguins are so cute," I whispered leaning closer to me, he pointed over to the side where a bucket was located filled with small fish. On the bucket, it even said we could feed the penguins. Since when was this a function? Usually, you could watch the staff feed them but you wouldn't be able to feed them ourselves. How could this be? "Do you want to feed them?" Qi Yan asked. " I want to but I'm not sure if we're allowed to?" I wondered. "Well it says feed me. So I guess we can, " expressed Qi Yan. " Ok," I announced walking over to the bucket and grabbing the gloves on the side. "Oh there's only one pair. Qi Yan you can have one and I'll have the other," I ordered handing him the glove. He smiled put on the glove and crouched down beside me and grabbed a small fish and threw it to the penguin sitting across us on an iceberg. "Wow you have got a good aim," I commented whilst clapping my hands "Let's see if I can throw so good," I announced grabbing at another fish I threw it.

*Plop* the sound of the fish falling into the lake surrounding it made Qi Yan burst into laughter as I shouted in embarrassment "Stop laughing at me. I told you before I've bad aim. But it's not going to waste the penguins are already diving for it,". "Ok, ok I won't laugh," cried Qi Yan as he held his hands up in the air, the stance of defeat. "Teach me how to throw it then," I muttered, Qi Yan stopped laughing as I look at him picking up a fish and walking beside me. Stepping behind me he grabbed my arm and held the fish between both of our arms "Lower your arm a bit," he commanded as I looked towards him we were so close together that I could feel his heart beating quicker and quicker every minute just like mine. His perfume smelt nice "Concentrate," he interrupted as I turned back to face the penguins. If I can't hear his heartbeat I would have felt that Qi Yan was a robot but how can he still ask me to concentrate after this? "And now," hushed Qi Yan as I let go of the fish. It landed right in the small penguin's mouth. "Wow it landed into the baby penguin's mouth," I screamed in joy. "it's not much of a baby if it can eat fish already," stated Qi Yan. "Yes, it is. The penguins smaller than the rest so it is the baby of the pact," I argued back "Well it might have just been shorter than the rest," retorted Qi Yan. "Young Master Qin, not everyone is as extinguished as you. You've lived your whole life surrounded by maids. Maybe this penguin is just malnourish as there are so many adult penguins," I explained. ' I should've just kept my mouth shut. This mouth of mine would ruin me one day. Why are we even debating on if that's a baby penguin or not?' I thought as an awkward silence extended onto the atmosphere.

"So where would you like to go next?" Qi Yan asked breaking the silence. "Well, I chose first so now it's your turn to choose," I replied. After serval minutes of browsing through the leaflet together, we had concluded to go to the seals as Qi Yan was quite interested in it.

"Their tail adaptations make it easier to move in water," I commented as Qi Yan nodded in agreement. "Shall we take a picture?" I suggested whilst bringing out my phone. Qi Yan stood beside me as he grabbed my shoulders lovingly. *Snap. Snap* We had taken two photos and in both a pair of seals had come behind us they were holding hands in one picture and swimming away in another. "Huh, we managed to catch the seals behind us in the picture," announced Qi Yan "Yes very marvellous," I replied. "Do send that to me," ordered Qi Yan as I nodded, sending it quickly to his Wei Xin.

In the end, we had gone through all of the exhibitions before heading to meet the other three in the café outside the aquarium. "How was it?" I asked them as soon as I saw them. "Quite good though we spent a lot of time at the white sperm whale sections trying to spot the baby one that had been born a few months ago, to no availed," ranted Cheng Li as I smiled sweetly "Oh we didn't see it either," answered Qi Yan. When we walked together towards the car park I hardly noticed that someone had already sneakily taken a picture of us though I should learn to be more observant...
