Unwanted Guest

The man began reprimanding Felix just after he opened the door.

"You ungrateful brat. You didn't even called to thank me. It was me..." Eric halted when he saw another person in the room.

His eyes widened when he saw that it was a girl and she was even wearing Felix's clothes. There was no way these were her clothes based on their size.

He was dumbfounded, it was the first time Felix brought someone home and she was even wearing his clothes. His eyes darted between both of them.

Samia was embarrassed by, how he was looking at her.

Felix knew from Eric's gaze that he misunderstood the situation.

Felix was annoyed.

"Don't let your thoughts run wild. There's nothing like that." He said bringing Eric back to his senses.

"Won't you invite me in," Eric asked. Felix was standing at the door not giving him any chance to enter the house.

"I want to talk about some important matters with you." Eric is without batting an eyelid. He had to, otherwise, Felix won't let him in. He understood from Felix's expression that he wasn't allowed in. He can't miss such a big piece of gossip, can he? He will tell Ryan later of what was happening in his absence. He was grinning inside, at this thought but his expression was serious.

Felix looked at him suspiciously like he still didn't buy that.

"It's important and I am leaving tomorrow." He was a member of a special force so he would often go on missions.

Felix had no choice but to let him in. He already said that he was leaving tomorrow, what can he do?

But before Eric could speak a word more, Felix took him in, closed the door, and dragged him toward his study.

He said to Samia without looking behind " You can go to sleep once you finish. Sorry, but I have some important matters to discuss with him."

"At least introduce us to each other, Don't be so rude ." Eric tried persuading him but to no avail.

Felix knew him well. If he let him stay a moment more he would surely spout some nonsense.

He really doubted the person who let him in, in the special forces.

But he will have to admit that this man is quite capable. It's just that he can't keep his mouth shut.

Samia quickly finished the noodles, she washed the dishes thinking that this was the only thing in which she could help. She went into the room, she was previously in. She doesn't want to face that man, even though by their interaction she understood that he was Felix's friend. But she was still in his house even wearing his pajamas. She doesn't want that unknown person to misunderstand anything.

She laid on the bed.

As soon as Samia's head touched the pillow, she fell asleep. The day had worn her out.

"Who is she?" Eric asked when they were alone in the study.

Felix saw this coming. This guy doesn't have anything serious to talk about. How was he supposed to answer him now? That she is his secretary, will make him imagine more things.

This was the reason he was not letting him in, but he still did that thinking he will be leaving tomorrow.

"She is my friend," Felix replied. He doesn't know how to describe their relationship. Is he supposed to say that she is the secretary he likes? He definitely can't say that now.

"Friend or Girlfriend," Eric said in a teasing tone.

"This was your important business." Felix tried to intimidate him so that he would drop the topic.

But who was Eric? he won't drop such a piece of news.

"Yes...Yes," Eric nodded enthusiastically. He won't mind being thick-skinned in front of his best friend.

"you...." Felix was speechless.

"So what's your relation with her? You can't hide this from me. Who knows maybe I would be able to help you." Eric probed.

" She's just my secretary. Don't think too much." Felix answered.

"Then what she is doing in your house wearing your nightsuit? She was quite beautiful though." Eric paused and suddenly gasped with a look of realization.

"Don't tell me you finally lost your virginity. That's also a good thing. Oh My God, This is such a piece of big news."

"Nothing like that has happened." Felix stopped him before he could say more ridiculous things. He sighed, he should have known beforehand that nothing good could come from his mouth.

"Oh," Eric said in a disappointed voice.

"She fainted because of exhaustion and I didn't have her keys so I brought her here. Now don't imagine any nonsense." Felix made an excuse. He can't make himself to tell the truth.

"ohhh... So you guys are not together yet. Do you want my help?" Eric said in a mysterious tone. There was no way what Felix said was true if he didn't have a key he could have taken her to a hotel. And she did not have any clothes, he was Felix Alberto, he could have just asked a subordinate to buy her some clothes. He was so rich after all.

It could be only concluded as he was fully using the opportunities and maybe creating them too.

Eric's face turned serious "so, you like her?"

"Yes," Felix replied straightforwardly.

Eric nodded. He wished things would go right for his best friend. After all, it was the first time he liked a girl.

"I will be going on a mission tomorrow. This time it's more complicated than usual so it might take me 3-4 months. Take care of yourself and Ryan" Eric said.

They hugged each other.

"Don't miss me too much" Eric said cheekily.

Felix sighed. He knew Eric can't stay serious for too long. He sometimes wonders how he can even be a soldier.

"Thanks for last night," Felix said. He felt guilty thinking about last night. It was after a long time that he lost control.

He sometimes would feel ashamed of himself when he harmed others.

"Ok, now don't be so serious. I will take my leave now. Take care of yourself." Eric said while going towards the door. He was intending to leave.

Just as he was out of the door he turned around and said, " I do get the news that you are chasing a girl. Hehe, That too such a big one." Before Felix could say anything Eric ran out of the door.

Felix was anxious whether Samia heard this or not.

Unknown to them Samia was already sleeping soundly.
