Going For A Walk

Felix offered to go for a walk in the evening.

Samia's eyes brightened but dimmed as soon as she recalled that Jerry would be going with them too.

She thought she must have been under some spell that day to agree to Abigail.

Samia nodded reluctantly.

Felix watched her expression go from excited to something aggrieved and he shook his head helplessly.

He thought of trying to make her overcome her fear but didn't know where to start.

They walked on the road hand in hand. Felix held Jerry's leash in his other hand. The latter was enjoying his day. He wasn't even aware that Samia was scared of him.

"You love dogs," Samia stated.

Felix was startled when she suddenly spoke. He nodded and said " I used to have a dog, Bean. I spent most of my time with him after my mother passed away. We were very close to each other, like brothers. He passed away a few years back."

Samia looked at him quietly. It was the first time he talked about himself and his life.

She was happy that Felix started to share about himself.

At night Felix was prepared to go back.

"Are you going back?" Samia looked at him with puppy eyes.

"Yeah," Felix replied.

"You won't possibly leave me alone with him." Samia looked at Felix aggrievedly.

Felix's lips twitched. She was looking at him the same way he looked at her.

Still, he couldn't refuse her.

"Okay, I will stay here, happy?" Felix asked.

Samia nodded frantically. " Couldn't be happier."

Samia watched as Felix called someone to deliver him clothes.

"It's getting quite late and you have already made arrangements for your clothes so let's sleep," Samia said.

Samia went into her room and came with a blanket and a pillow a minute later.

"You can sleep on the couch. It's big enough to fit you." Samia said with a smile on her face.

"Good night." She went into her room and closed the door.

Felix looked at the door blankly. He was speechless.

She asked him to stay over first and now she closed the door on them.

Felix felt Samia was acting like a guest. She didn't wait for a second to offer him the couch and didn't ask his opinion.

Felix shook his head helplessly.

Jerry barked at him. He was happy that Felix was staying with him. He won't be alone like he was last night.

Felix washed up and prepared for bed after someone delivered him pajamas.

Thus, the two creatures Samia left outside had no choice but to sleep.

"Felix..Felix." Samia shook him, trying to wake him up.

Felix frowned in his sleep. He opened his eyes after a while and saw Samia's face in front of him.

Before he could register what was happening she said "Your buddy peed on my carpet."

He blinked and blinked, then remembered what happened yesterday. He came to her house because she was afraid of Jerry and slept on her couch.

Felix slowly got up, "Don't worry, I will take care of it."

Samia nodded. "Then I will go make breakfast."

Felix was about to get up when Samia turned and she ran in his direction swiftly kissed his cheek and went back.

"You look even more handsome in the morning." Samia winked.

Felix was stunned. He shook his head helplessly. Does she even know what she was doing early in the morning? He sighed and cleaned up.

Samia gave the carpet for dry cleaning. She let Felix take care of Jerry without any worries. Samia was very thankful. If not for him she would have definitely sent Jerry to dog care. She couldn't handle him at all.

Felix even came to help with just a call. She understood that she should not have done that.

Felix refused to leave Jerry alone, so they ended up taking Jerry with them.

Everyone in the company was shocked when they saw their boss bringing a dog, but they did not dare to say anything. Because of Jerry Felix and Samia would always be seen together but no one thought anything. Samia was his secretary so it was quite normal for her to be with their boss.

Samia became more friendly with Jerry and she also saw a lively side of Felix that she has never seen before.

By the end of the week, she wasn't scared of Jerry, but she knew for sure that if she were to go in front of any other dog except him she would freak out.

The whole week Felix slept on the couch, not that he could complain but Samia's apartment was smaller than his, and seeing her so early in the morning wasn't helping him at all. When she slept at his home they would meet downstairs after getting dressed up. It didn't seem like they were that close but it felt like they were living together.

Abigail took Jerry next week

Felix received a message that Eric would be coming. He thought of introducing Samia to him.

So he brought up this topic at lunch.

"Your friend?" Samia inquired.

"Yeah, the one who barged into my house last time," Felix replied.

Samia finally remembered him.

"So where are we going for dinner?" Samia asked.

"At my place. I will be cooking." Felix replied.

"Really."

"Hmm" Felix replied.

"You don't even cook for me with that offer." Samia pouted.

"Are you jealous?" Felix was amused.

" Can't I be? You cook even better than those chefs and I don't even get to eat it that often." Samia complained.

Felix chuckled. "If you want I will cook for you every day. I didn't know you liked my cooking that much." Felix rubbed her head affectionately.

"Hey, don't mess my hair." Samia pouted.

"You look even cuter like that." Felix complimented.

"Like what?" Samia tried to act nonchalantly but her ear tips were red.

Felix laughed at that gesture. She acted like she wasn't affected. She refused to admit that she was blushing.
