Let's Get Married!
Evan smiled at Rose's question.
Everyone who knew his true identity would definitely ask him that. He was used to hearing it and always too lazy to answer them. But, now his girlfriend asked, he should tell her his real reason.
"Collins Group is not mine, but my grandfather's. I don't want to be involved in the Collins Group…." Evan drinks his mineral water before he continues. "Because, if I work or want to inherit the company, I must be prepared to follow their wishes. Including what I should do after college and who I should marry. I don't want to live like that. I want to stand on my own two feet, without anyone else telling me what to do… especially who I will marry." Evan looks Rose in the eyes as he places his hand behind her.
