Confrontation

I pushed the door open and was immediately grabbed at the waist by the monster on the other side.

Her claws were as long and thick as my arm, her posture hunched and her face too grotesque to look at without flinching. Her body became too twisted to even recognize her as a human; her hair being the only thing that remained mostly intact, even if it was so long that it touched the ground. Her form was hunched but she still seemed to be as tall as the house itself.

Thankfully, I was not my past self anymore, or her appearance would indeed cause me fear.

“PRIIIISSCILLAAAAAA!” She hissed, as her claw pulled me away from the ground.

“Aramis,” I grounded out, glaring at her. “I have to thank you.”

“THAAANK MEEE?” Her hissing was grating on my nerves.

“Oh yes, you saved me the trouble of finding you.” Inside my head, I began uttering a mantra of ‘This world is mine, I’m the ruler of this world.’ Doing so made my skin prickle, as the unknown power filled my muscles.
