1- Situation

Peace is a fragile thing.

Peace is freedom, yet, is it really? You can obtain peace even when shackled. Perhaps it's a state of time, where there is no war, or fighting?

How peculiar.

"You're off to visit her again? I'm surprised you two haven't gotten together yet!" One of the older women in the neighborhood chimes, she was wrinkled, old, yet still, she managed to age like fine wine. The boy she talked to, Zeke, laughed in amusement.

"I don't think that's going to happen any time soon." He replied shortly. Zeke is a dark skinned man, Ebony-colored hair accompanied with features akin to a God's vessel. In short,he was handsome.

One of the higher windows in the house infront of the older woman's opened, and revealed an young girl, she was in her 18's, probably just turned 18. Her face was fair, yet she wasn't all that blessed. She waved at Zeke. "Well, it's no surprise, She's sometimes so stingy!" The girl giggled from her own statement, yet Zeke only smiled.

And as if she would appear at the very mention of her, the topic walked up the stairs, towards Zeke who was descending, not before being stopped by the girls.

She was utterly beautiful, pale, her lashes and hair were an beautiful snow white, her eyes akin to wine, or blood in the snow.

She was glowing under the sun. "Talking about me?" She chirped, taking the basket of fruits from Zeke's hold. "You're all so nosy sometimes." She said, sighing softly, shaking her head in mock disappointment.

"But.. I don't think you should be concerned about me and Zeke at all. I hears Lenese got herself Pregnant again." She, or Yuri, smiled brightly. "Wait what!?" The girl from the balcony shrieked, "That's.. She just gave birth though?" The older woman asked.

Yuri shrugged, her face smug. As the Old woman and the girl from the balcony start to gossip, Yuri and Zeke slip away, The girl holding the latter's hand. "The weather is nice today. Perfect for a walk."

The girl said, smiling softly. She let's go of Zeke's hand, the man frowns a little but cheers up almost instantly. "Indeed, let's go to the valley?" Zeke asked. Yuri nods.

It was peaceful, wonderful even.

"There have been reports of Eternals appearing around the place recently.." one of the men, Argos said, holding a peace of paper between his armed palms. He wore a type of armor, red and shiny. "Those things are annoying to deal with." Zeke whispered from behind the desk.

"They're ugly." Yuri comments from her spot on the window, sitting in the windowsill. "They're pitch black, Yuri, how are they ugly exactly?" Argos snapped back with an smirk. "Well, they remind me of you so." Yuri retaliated, both start to argue.

"Silence." Zeke ordered, and they quickly shut up. "Look, we'll observe them before taking action."

"Zeke, those things don't have minds, they only serve and carry out orders from the King of Esea." Argos furrows his eyebrows. "Let Zeke do his thing, I would disagree, but there haven't been any recent reports of Eternals recently, this is the first on we had in 3 months." Yuri taps her chin as she spoke.

"Those things are clearly up to something."

"Got it." Argos sighs walking out of the room.

"I can't keep defending you like this, Zeke." Yuri quickly speaks. "But...I think something really is up. If I were up front, I'd kill before they do anything."

She was right. She really was. Maybe they should've killed before they could do anything.

Blood was everywhere, the sun was hot, burning their skin as they ran as fast as they could, some stopped to fight, some dropped to the floor, unable to run anymore.

Argos ran, clenching his fist as small tears ran down his cheeks. His family, Gone. His village, it's going to be gone.

Peace vanished like it never existed.

Yuri ran fast, a spear in her back as she stomps on an Eternal's face, plunging the spear in its face and pulling it out. "Burn."

And burn it did.

She gulps. "Dear lord." She muttered under her breath, disposing of the spear and replacing it with two small blades. She ran, slashing and burning all Eternals that her daggers touched. She runs through the ruined town, jumping over bloodied corpses of her friends, those she cherished deeply in her little heart.

She gulps, her face saddening as she stops to see the stone gate closing. "Yuri!" Zeke screamed from the other side. She slides in before the door could close, clutching the ground as she coughs violently.

"Dammit!" Argos raged. "Calm down, Argos." Yuri ordered, standing up. Her face in an stone cold expression.

Argos grabs her collar, shaking her back and fourth. "How could you be so calm!? Our home," He points to the direction of the burning village. "It's gone! It's.. destroyed.."

"I'm not blind, Argos. I know." She said, her voice slightly trembling. Zeke quickly separates them. "Let's all breath first." He said, turning to the rest of the people who made it. Most of them were soldiers, well, with the exception of a mother and a crying infant, Lenese and her newborn child.

Yuri sighs, walking out of the tunnel with a sour expression. "We need to pull ourselves together, time doesn't wait." She states, moving beside Zeke who held her hand.

It was 10 in the night, they all sat in a small campfire, Lenese being covered by a blanket as she fed her newborn, with Argos watching over them. Yuri was sharpening her knives, while Zeke cooked the meat she hunted. Of course, the world just couldn't give them a break.

"Eternals." Argos whispered, grabbing his greatsword, but it was too late. His hand was cut off, he cried loudly, face scrunched up in pain. "Ow." Yuri commented, slashing off the Eternal's head. Lenese screeched in pain as she was impaled by a tentacle.

Yuri closed her eyes, sweating considerably as Zeke grabs her hand, they both start to run. Argos was dead, Lenese and her child were dead, everyone is dead.. "Zeke.." Yuri breathed out, "I don't think I can run anymore.." She mumbled.

"I'll carry you, Fuck!" Zeke sweared as he brought the girl to his arms.

A black tentacle from an Eternal shoots after them, impaling them both, together. "Ow, ow, ow.." Yuri whined for both of them. The Eternals take Yuri, hanging her in the air, in front of Zeke as they Stab the girl multiple times. She screamed loudly her blood dripping on Zeke's face.

Soon everything went black.
