Joshua didn't bother to answer Tonya and just left the room. He knew she was right though. If the mark of his arm were from a demon or not, it would be best to hide it for now. He made his way through the guild and to the tailor's shop. As he entered, Gerald greeted him.
"Welcome back, young man." He said. "Is there anything I can do for you today? You need some new armor perhaps?"
"I need something to cover my arm." Joshua replied, lifting his arm to show his cursed tattoo.
Gerald's eyes widened at the sight. "So, I see." He said. "Oh well, not the first deal I have seen, although the chains are much grander than usual."
"What do you mean?" Joshua asked.
"The poor boys left on the street make deals with lesser demons all the time." Gerald explained. "It is a sad reality that we live in. Normally since they are lesser demons their trades are simple, and the mark disappears as soon as they complete the transaction."
