"Huh?" Ivy reacted in surprise, "aren't you Hero's Master?"
"Ah no. I just happened to stumble upon Hero's stone while I was peddling.
Since I met many Mages in my journey, I let Hero accompany me so that it would be easier for him to find his fateful owner. But I was hoping of discussing with you to take over his ownership later."
"O-ownership... you mean like be Hero's Master?"
"Yes. Your mana is compatible with all magic stones, and Magic familiars like Hero and Hope need their Master's mana, or else they'll regress back into stone form, or worse, they may even wilt into dust. Although Hero has been feeding on my mana, it's not very sustainable since I'm not his fated Master. That's why he has to remain small most of the time to conserve the mana he has in his body."
"Uhm, I don't mind but is that okay with you, Hero?"
"If you will have me, Moon Witch." Hero humbly bowed, but his tail wagged happily.
