77. Unknown Warrior

Aisha suddenly disappeared and her parents asked the police around the city to search for her.

When they were asked who the friend she was supposed to stay with was, they were left speechless, they didn't ask her, no, they forgot to ask. They were happy their child finally started making friends that they forgot to ask such an important question.

The students and teachers in the school she was studying in were questioned many times, and the same answers were given, "we don't know", "she wasn't social at all", "I don't know a girl like her", that's how things were for the next two months.

The cops stopped searching and closed the case giving whatever excuse. They did compensate Aisha's parents, but it was never enough for the two. They loved her, they treasured her, and that was something Aisha never knew because she was never around in the first place and here they are, the parents standing in front of their child's tomb.

Years passed and all the school students graduated and are now attending university.

Why aren't they in dungeons? Because the governments forbade all those who didn't finish at least their bachelor, assuming they'd be wiser and more capable to deal with whatever is on the other side of each door.

Because of that weak reason, the elders had to suffer with the extra workload and that made it worse for each city's economic stats, thanks to that, the youngsters were given the chance to fix those mistakes and create now what's called guilds.

Guilds were companies. Guilds were home to hundreds of warriors, it's where they could hide whenever governments tried to force them to do what they were uncomfortable with. The elders took care of everything and let the young warriors deal with the dungeons and whatever might make it through the doors.

Just like that, two years passed, and the world seemed to finally reach peace, but as the saying goes, "nothing lasts forever".

One day, in the broad daylight, a door opened coming out of it was a huge beast, the beast ran after the weakest first while spitting acid toward those who tried to stop it. That creature seemed to be a bit more genius compared to its fellows they had dealt with before, which made killing it harder and more troublesome.

"Humans, you never changed, and you will never as long as you are like this" the beast spoke sending shivers down their spines. The cameras that were capturing every moment were shut off and phone calls started to fall upon the police officers and TV channels that shared what just happened.

Horror filled their hearts and panic was the only thing clear on everyone's faces.

The beast left just like it came, after its door was shut citizens all around the world were terrified and wanted the uppers to deal with all that as soon as possible before that thing comes back again and use something else other than words.

For three days straight, people around the globe couldn't rest and the simple crash would turn them into a mess. That lasted for another day until 'The Saviour' came out of nowhere and tried to comfort them, weirdly enough, that person made it, and life went back to normal.

"Dear humans! I, one of the loyal warriors, am here to save you from those creatures now and forever, so please rest assured your lives will be back to normal when we get rid of the source of all this!!"

The so-called 'loyal warrior' gave his speech and vanished; peace then reached everyone's heart and they all found themselves calm as if there was nothing to worry about in the first place.

"Earth" Nature called her partner who was busy finalizing the new system.

"I heard... It seems the war between light and dark is getting closer than we had anticipated" Earth clenched their fists and stared at the picture of the unknown warrior who was not registered in their database.

"He finally appeared" Ophelia's smile grew bigger until it reached her ears. Behind her was standing Hayden, who was worried for some reason.

"I have a terrible feeling about this," he mumbled quietly before his eyes turned darker and vanished with Ophelia in the shadows.
