28. The Aftermath and Consequences (Please Read Warning)

After checking her, the doctor stood from his seat and walked to the people waiting behind the door for good news.

The maids stood by the bed and started cleaning their master from the sweat that kept forming because of her cold.

After the door was shut, the doctor turned to face them with a sad face, he shook his head and scared them more, Seth and Level up System faced a wall and held their fists from breaking something, as for the butler, he pulled out his handkerchief and wiped away the tears that started to form.

"Though things could've been worse, they are still bad..." He started, "her cold might take too long to recover but do keep wiping her with cold pads, that'll help. Make sure her temperature doesn't get higher than it is now, or it'll be impossible to save her. And make sure when she wakes up she eats soup, only soup. Please don't forget to contact me when she wakes up or something happen" they nodded their heads slowly.

"And something else..." He leaned closer wiping the sweat on his forehead. After saying what he wanted, the three of them were left shocked by the horrifying news they received.

The maids left the room, their eyes were puffed red from crying. No one can be blamed for the chaos the villa turned to, because the stat their master came in wasn't even normal, she was dead body, all white and her lips were yellow, purple and blue, she wasn't even breathing.

Everyone tried their best to help her but the one they wanted the most and could really help her didn't reply yet, "darn it! Why System 0 isn't answering?!" Screamed Seth, the view of Warrior 01 can't leave his mind which angered him more.

[ I don't know! Don't expect him the type to be free for anyone! His work is all messed up and exhausting, even for a system like him! ]

"Don't protect him like that! You too know how much Warrior 01 matters for him!" The two of them stopped fighting when the butler entered, they looked at him hopeful for some good news but once again, there was none.

"He didn't answer yet?" The butler asked while walking to the sofa to rest for the first time in five days, "no, there's nothing yet"

They sat in silence waiting for a miracle to happen, but sadly nothing changed for another week. System 0 didn't show up neither did he reply back and Warrior 01 health was still critical and each day she's getting more and more hopeless to survive.

"Butler?! God of War?! Level up System?!" A maid rushed to them her face bright and filled with wonderful news to them. They jumped from their seats and ran to the entrance to welcome the late guest.

[ Took you too long, System 0 ]

Tears started to fall from everyone's eyes at the sight of System 0, who smiled sweetly to them before he walked up the stairs to Warrior 01

[ Look at yourself, laying here while everyone's suffering. How many times should we tell you to avoid worrying anyone? Anyway, it's time to wake up, so hurry up and open your eyes ]

System 0's eyes turned white and his hand above Warrior 01 head got brighter and strings of light started to move down from her head to her weak body.

Few minutes passed and the light didn't calm down until System 0 made sure she's fine and well again to stand on her feet. After he finished, he called for the three men to follow him to the guests room.

[ Explain... Cleo came to me out of nowhere and cracked my head open because I didn't save her child. So what exactly happened? ]

The three looked at each other no knowing what to say, but the impatient look on System 0 made them all shiver before they sold Level up System to talk instead of them.

[ We- Well... Warrior 01 was fighting S ranked beasts to could finish Pro Level and head into Impossible Level, and sh- She might has- ]

System 0 rose a hand asking him to stop, he rubbed his forehead then his eyes. A long and exhausted sigh came from him before he looked up at the three men.

[ Warrior 01 is very important, if anything happens to her then it'll be the end for fertility and life, and Nature won't accept something like that to happen. So keep your eyes on her and don't allow her to do anything crazy like that one, understood? ]

They nodded their heads quickly, by that they helped System 0 to relax, his tensed muscles calmed down and his body laid on the sofa.

[ Let's make sure this never happens again, Nature needed to get something from the core to add to Warrior 01's soul. This will probably make her stronger than she was before ]

He turned to look at Level up System that was busy fiddling with his fingers.

[ How's her training? The final results so far? ]

He rose his head quickly but then put it down still ashamed from facing his creator.

[ Sh- She did amazing job, she's one of the rare cases! She's A ranked but with S ranked stats!! ]

He rose his head again and opened a screen filled with all details needed regarding her training.

[ Amazing, this is amazing. Then she's now an S ranker after receiving Nature's gift ]

System 0 mumbled and a small smile formed on his face.

But that calm moment didn't last for them, "Sirs!!! Master woke up but-!!" They all rushed to her room still hearing crashing sounds and screams and cries of the maids from the hallway.

When they entered the room, everything was upside down, the maids were hiding in a corner and shivering from fear. The cause of their fear was standing in the middle of the room breathing heavily.

"Master?" The butler called for her softly, but when she turned to face him, her eyes were dark and the same lines that showed up on her neck and hands appeared again but this time they spread on her whole face and arms.

[ It seems there's something she's missing to could control all those crazy mana within her ]

System 0 mumbled, "what do you suggest to do?" He thought for a second before he summoned two big guards.

[ For now let's knock her out ]

They all turned to look at him in shock, "the hell?!" Seth yelled, "she's our master! Do you expect us to hurt her?!"

[ Oh, no. I'll be the one to do that ]

The summoned guards held her but she kept fighting back getting System 0 mad that he punched her hard in the guts, but she didn't budge.

[ Shit, I knew it was a bad idea to give her something strong like that when she's not balanced yet ]

They all watched as he kept punching Warrior 01 to lose conscious but she didn't, they wanted to stop him but they were afraid if they do that their master might become more dangerous, but if they let him do whatever he wants she'll be badly hurt.

She grumbled and growled like a beast, her teeth turning to sharp fangs and her nails to long claws, the darkness spreading around her changed her form into a dark beast, "a shapeshifter?" Mumbled the butler.

She twisted the two guards and smashed their heads into the ground, as fast as lightning, she ran to System 0 and knocked him into the ground before she started punching him to bleed.

They system did nothing but tried to block her attacks but she was too fast for him to stop her, he started to cough blood but that didn't make her stop, her speed increased and her punches got rougher on him that he needed to push her away before she destroy his human form.

Her body flew out of the window and System 0 followed her after he caught his balance, she jumped to catch him mid air but System 0 wasn't willing to be crashed into the ground, a loud shing was heard before a scream rose.

He stabbed her close to the heart to at least disable her moves for seconds before he stabbed her again in the same place making her whimper from the unbelievably burning pain from his sword.

[ This sword was a gift from Nature. Funny how she knew the consequences of giving you from her core ]

Everyone rushed to them and watched their master on the ground blood seeping from her mouth and her chest filling the green ground with her crimson red. They all panicked and rushed to her but System 0 stopped Level up System from going to her.

[ Don't let those humans' emotions effect your work. Don't forget what you are and what's you job. Also, no more training for her, we'll start with sending her to the realms to gain more experience and control those shapeshifters inside her before she goes out and interact with other warriors. Don't disappoint me, system ]

He patted Level up System and glared at him before he teleported back to his place. The poor system stood still in his place while everyone were close to the villa to save their master again, he didn't know what's waiting the warrior and him, but he knows one thing for sure...
