1. Trip

" please Nora, it being a while since we left the Realm" said Rayd before turning back to Nora, "Do u think we can make it before dawn, I'm exhausted, famished and unsettled, it like we've being walking for ages, can we pleaseeee atleast rest for half an hour before we embark on our journey", he added high pitching the please. 

That when the lady called Nora spare Rayd a glance, "You think we have all day or do you think luck is always on our side, we barely escape the ghouls back there and you know they're still on our toes, so get back on your feet or you stay here alone, I can't imagine being smoked for dinner". The last part was said as she shuddered imagining how horrible it'll be.

Walking through the dense forest, small chipping sound can be heard flying around the rows of the gigantic trees which are assembled in rows and columns. The forest was still foggy in contrast to the morning dew making the leafs on the ground half wet hiding their footsteps as they match forward. The chilled temperature at the whisk of dawn swirl the leafs softly in circles giving the forest a calm expression.

Rayd continue nagging while falling into step with Nora who has an expressionless look on her face. "It seems like we are almost there" she said to Rayd whose eyes glitter with excitement the moment he heard Nora.

"At long last we...….." Rayd didn't get to finish his sentence before she cut in "And don't forget to keep your space". Rayd frown on hearing this, "And no one should know you are my brother", she added.

Rayd stopped in his track and turn to Nora who was suppressing her giggles seeing how he turn so fast while giving her an 'are you nut' glare.

"What are implying here Nora", He asked sternly without taking his eyes off her, " are you trying to cut me off cause we ain't in our Realm or because the Sea Goddess's not here with us".

"For once Rayd can you just think straight, you talk a whole lot and some might think you're my boyfriend or something". She said while walking pass Rayd who forgot to blink while staring at his sister who sometimes act like a complete psychopath.

"Isn't that so" Rayd said while Rolling his eyes.

"Told you to stop doing that, your eyes are scary". Nora said while hitting his shoulders playfully. Rayd shruggle raising his arms indicating he don't care.

" That because the color of my eyes is more cuter and way more attractive than yours. I think you're just jealous of them", He said while giggling to himself.

"But dad always said mine are more attractive and beautiful".

"That because dad love blue stuffs Nora" Raid said

"My eyes ain't blue, they're turquoise " Nora defended.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Nora, but I see no difference".

They kept chatting while heading toward a small gate that can be visible at a very far distance. They dress casually in a normal not too attractive robe with huge bags on their back which contains their stuff and some necessary items they'll need for their journey.

"No one would believe you are a prince even if u proof it a hundred and one times cos you're so dull". Nora commented

" I'm damn handsome, strong and eye catching also the prince of the PACIRAS, What else do I need?, Beside whatever I need was always provided, so what the need in studying the color of your eyes, Though am good at studying ladies". he winked at her when he said the last part. " That why am the only one you always close with at the Realm", Rayd added.

"That because you're the only sibling I have. and the next time you sprout such am gonna get your gut out". Nora fired back.

Rayd was laughing hard this time around cox Nora's reaction was funny. Her turquoise pupils turning dark bringing out the perfect milkish eyeballs as she shoot Rayd with a deadly glare with how hard he was laughing.

Nora dropped her bag and pick up a broken branch from the ground, Rayd on seeing this knows what his sister was about to do and decide to run for his life, cause he knows if Nora lay a hand on him then she's not freeing him until she hears him cry in pain.

Seeing Rayd trying to make a go away with it, Nora followed him which turn into a cat mouse chase even if it not gonna eat it but just to toy with it.

After some minute of chasing Rayd who try to run faster, Both Rayd and Nora halted in their track when a loud growl interrupt them from their playful banter.

"Do you hear that or was it just me" Nora asked looking at Rayd who also have this knowing look in his eyes.

" My ears function so well," He answered.

" what could it be." Both wondered out loud and went for their bags before whatever it is made it way to them.

"I hate running for my life when ever am in a forest, land in total." Rayd sigh before stepping behind Nora who was in the process of picking up her bag, she turns to Rayd whose deep sapphire pupils waters making his pure white balls more bold and intriguing, his blueish hair inches away form his eyes almost covering them. 

"I seriously hate fighting on land especially forest, Land is so not my thing" Rayd said looking at Nora who looks like she's trying so hard to hold in her laughter, Rayd on seeing this soften more and was likely going to cry any moment from then.

"It not funny Nora, please stop trying to laugh at me, it not like am afraid, I just felt more comfortable in water than on land", Rayd said finally giving in as tears roll down his cheeks.

On seeing this Nora's heart soften, she draws him closer into a hug and whisper lowly in his ears, " sisters here remember, nothing's gonna happen to my kid brother, just rest assured."

Rayd nod his head in response wiping his tears with his thumb.

" We can't run away this time aroung we have to fight whatever it is, after all we're the best warriors of PACIRAS."
