Few days after.

Yo-han and Chang-min, accompanied by Ms Bae the secretary and a number of board members arrived at KimJin to discuss the terms of the cooperation between the two companies.

Nagil was absent for the first time. Whenever Yo-Han has a business meeting, he was always there but that wasn't the case today and Yo-Han chose not to care about his absence, he had brought Chang-min along instead of Na-gil. It would be a great introduction to the business world for the young man and since Yo-Han knows how competent Chang-min is, he is very comfortable with taking him along.

Members of the two companies sat on each sides of the meeting table in the conference room at KimJin while the two CEOs sat at both ends. It was like the arrangement of a chess board except that there are no pawns, they are all officials with unique abilities.

Just like Yo-han, when it comes to business, Kim Hyun-Jun is also the 'No Nonsense' type, someone very strict, careful and adhering with and to his decisions. His staffs even gave him a motto secretly, "Lackadaisical means Jobless." meaning no job for a carefree man at KimJin. Just the same policy that Yo-han plays by.

The meeting started shortly after the two parties are seated and the General Project Manager from KimJin who is to be in charge of the KDD project stepped forward for his presentation.

"This project is supposed to be a work of the two companies engineering units but KimJin is ready to shoulder that alone. Our only request from Min Corporations is the provision of capital for the project. As a company that's just rising, it may cause dissatisfaction for the clients of this project if the engineering of the clients projects is handled by Party B, that's why Party A which has been in the industry for a long time and is known for its reputable achievements will handle the engineering and manufacturing. The only aid that Party B is required to offer is financial provision for the project. In our terms and conditions, Min Corporation that is Party B will receive 45% interest of it's contributed capital to the project. Furthermore,...." The man's words was interrupted by Yo-Han's applause which gained everyone's attention.

"First of all, I will like to appreciate you for your efforts in deprecating Min Corporation as low as possible. Secondly, is this a joint project or an investment in KimJin?, Also what's with the 45% interest?, Do you think Min Corporation is a bank that lends money to people who are short on capital?. I know what KimJin wants, you want to take full credit for the project. If this is a joint project, then we are not just going to invest, we are doing it together and the credit should be shared equally. This is a Joint project not a mere investment and please don't worry too much if we can't do a good job. I don't want this deal so badly like you do CEO Kim, therefore if you are going to start our partnership this way, I am out." Yo-han said without giving a care to who is who or whatever their names or status are. Yo-han gestures to Chang-min who punched some keys on his laptop, stood up and went to the projector screen with a laser pen in his hand.

"CEO Kim, Manager Kwon, and the board members, please pay attention to this presentation.

"This", he pointed to an image on the screen, " is the sample of the current KDC design pattern. The reason for KDD is to get rid of major flaws in the KDC model....." He pressed the next button and the new slide is displayed. "...This is our improved design with a large complexity and a firm copyright, don't try to plagiarize it, hehehe, " he chuckled a bit " this design is way more better than Snowhill international's initial design of KDC, we can assure that Snowhill will be out of the list of competitors for this project. An advantage on your part. This is to prove that no one will be dissatisfied by Min Corporation's involvement in the manufacture and production, and as CEO Park has said, we won't make a deal if this is only about investment." Chang-min concluded and returned to his seat.

"CEO Kim, it's not as if KimJin will not pay a part of the capital. If it's that way then, why don't we split the total profit based on each other's contributions like it should be done." Yo-han said. His mind didn't align to KimJin's offer at all. How will he take that. If the total profit is a million dollar and his contribution is a thousand dollar, then he would receive only four hundred dollars as interest, the remaining nine hundred and ninety nine thousand, five hundred and fifty will be KimJin's, that will be a great cheating. He wouldn't take that. Moreover why will KimJin want to do that if the profit isn't really above imagination.

If he was to accept that, then he would be like a bank borrowing KimJin capital.

The majority on KimJin's side started murmuring among themselves for a while until CEO Kim hushed them with a heavy bang of his fist on the desk.

"Enough!" he shouted and turned to Yo-Han, "CEO Park, why don't you take 75% of this capital as interest then, and it will be okay if you insist to take part in the production."

"CEO Kim, even if the profit is increased to 100%, we will still not accept it."

"Why not CEO Park?" One of KimJin's men asked in surprise. 'Who in their right mind will reject an 100% interest?' he wondered.

"KDD is a rural development innovative program for a third world country that depends solely on agriculture. KDD's objective is to enhance transportation, a key problem of agriculture. Such a country with unstable economy may not be able to afford the hundreds of millions required for this sort of project, it's only normal that they offer a trade by barter. Country S will definitely receive some commodities and benefits in exchange but how will the country pay the developers and what will be the profit. I guess free tax, free custom levies for all of KimJin's exports for a long period of time. It's only natural that you will recover the capital for the project after about five years, but the remaining years will be for making profit without tax payment, and before we know it, KimJin would have made about twenty times the initial capital. It's really unfair if Min Corporation will lose out of this. If this project is a joint project, then the profit should be both parties benefit. By the way, KimJin doesn't have enough investors willing to invest in this project that's why you want Min Corporation, a company that you think has no chance, to stand in place of your unwilling investors."

It was exactly like Yo-Han said, that was what KimJin planned to propose when at the meeting with the clients and because of their greed, they wanted to keep it hidden from Min Corporation and only treat Yo-han like a merchant bank.

Initially, KimJin would not have needed Yo-Han's help but somehow, a large percentage of Shareholders threatened to withdraw their investments if KimJin embark on the journey which left them with no choice than a joint project with Min Corporation which they have strongly underrated.

It was the profit that KimJin wanted more than anything and if KimJin is recognized as the contractor, then Min Corporation will have no need to know the terms and conditions of the contract, Yo-Han's concern will only be towards fulfilling his own side of the agreement with KimJin and nothing about KDD will be of his concern. That way, if they asked for free tax and other levies from the government in exchange for the manufacture of KDD trains, the millions saved from paying taxes and all of those levies would sink deep into KimJin's treasuries, with Yo-han left out of it, he wouldn't know about it since the terms of the contracts will be kept confidential.

Yo-Han's explanation brought two different expression on the faces of those seated in the room. Those on Min Corporation's side were nodding in agreement to Yo-Han's disagreement, they totally felt like they were being swindled by KimJin and their anger surged towards KimJin, those on KimJin's side were like 'BUSTED'.

"CEO Kim, I see how much you want this project, It's all because of your greed." Yo-han remarked.

Kim Hyun-Jun's face was pallid, very angry at how smart Yo-han turned out to be and it reminded him of his younger self, during the time when he took over KimJin from his father, he was also very smart and challenging. Now he is still the same and he had his pride, he would not give in to Yo-han. He waited for the murmurs to calm before he spoke. "CEO Park, that's business, it's all about making profit don't you know that?, If not, then I should question what you learnt in your years spent at college studying Business administration, anyways, you seem to be a greater Businessman than I presume."

"Of course it's Business, but the profit isn't moderate at all, it's more or less like cheating the clients and Min Corporation altogether. Therefore we won't accept this conditions and we won't be meeting to deliberate on this issue again." Yo-han gave his final words and left with his men.

How Yo-han knew KimJin's resort could only be explained by PiA's interception in CEO Kim's discussions with the board members and information from his intelligencers at KimJin. KimJin's shareholders refusal to invest in KDD could only be his hand work. He was doing all he could to steal the project that CEO Kim wanted more than anything from KimJin as a punishment for helping Seung-Heon kidnap Dan-bi.

The real fight with the Kim family is yet to begin.
